Recently we aquired a company that had a Microsoft Tenant in use.We were looking to merge that tenant into our exsisting tenant. This was a big understaking to make sure we minimized downtime while insuring data integrity. This is where MigrationWiz came into the picture. Not only does the software work flawless when properly configured, the level of thorough help articles along with the walk through videos that show examples of setting up projects really makes migrations easy. As we all know Microsoft changes things all the time, but the videos had been updated recently and they reflected exactly what was seen during the migration. Looking back through the videos they appear to do this every few months which keeps them accurate. Pricing was very fair for the heavy lifting that this product did and we were able to complete the migration within our scheduled downtime. The only negative I experience I had was the slower responce from support than I had hoped. They operate on a 24-hour SLA which is fine for planning or setting up projects however if you have a tight window for the migration, if you run into an critical issue you may have to reschedule the migraiton. I did submit a support ticket about 12 hours prior to the end of my scheduled downtime on a Sunday and it took approx 8 hours to get back to me. By then I had already performed a work around to be able to complete the migration within the downtime Not a deal killer by any means but you just have to go into your downtime understanding this. Over the last several years the help desk has become very short staffed and was limited to offshore resources only. I have been using MigrationWiz for 7 years and have migrated well over 100,000 mailboxes across 50+ companies and it has never let me down. I primarily use it for Mail and OneDrive migrations. The software is easy to configure and implement, providing great value to my customers. The migrations are accurate and comprehensive, including archives and recoverable items. The most impressive piece of the solution is that they have a PowerShell module which allows for automation with other migration tasks....to my knowledge it is the ONLY migration platform of its type to offer a PS module to use in conjunction with the browser based UI. What problems is MigrationWiz solving and how is that benefiting you? The biggest issue with some migration software is that there is no SDK or PowerShell integration, which MigrationWiz has. I can simply add commands to my migration scripts to include the MigrationWiz activities (starting Mail and OneDrive data moves). MigrationWiz works very well and is low-maintenance once configured appropriately. If you are having trouble, support has been great with working through any errors or other problems we have had. Eric has been fantastic with helping us with onboarding. Lindsay, our account manager, has also been great with helping us purchase the appopriate licenses to meet our needs. There is a slight learning curve with MigrationWiz. In order to get BitTitan migrations working properly, you may have to work with support.
