What do you like best about Midjourney?

Easy To Use, Implement, and Integrate -- Being hosted in Discord is a major hack. Super easy to use and took under 2 hours to really understand how MidJourney works. Using Variations, Aspect Ratios, and Zoom just seemed like a no-brainer.

High Quality -- Sometimes it takes a few tries, but I'm normally extremely satisfied with the results! I use MidJourney almost every day!

Amazing Community + Customer Service -- The community that MidJourney has built is impressive. Fellow Users are always willing to teach and answer questions from new users! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

Faces Are Horrible On First Run -- When a face is generated the first time is usually not good: eyes missing, noses missing chunks, etc. Only if you reference the person in detail in the prompt specifically do these issues go away.

Extra Arms + Legs -- Occasional Tri pedal people are generated and people with a ton of arms.

1. Really easy to understand & setup as the community on Discord channel is very prompt & the support is quick in responding.

2. Simple prompting is enough to generate a high quality image & variations.

1. Few introductory videos or any help videos are not readily available on the platform for quick reference. Need to always checkout the Discord.

2. Pricing is expensive and currently they have removed the free version also.

What I like most about midjourney is that I can create any quality image just by writing a short text, in seconds without waiting too long, without complicated processes, just placing a few words and that's it. "An expensive but (as of now) SOTA Diffusion model image generation solution"

What do you like best about Midjourney?

We have DaLLE, we have Stable Diffusion 1.5, 2.1 etc but there is a general consensus that Midjourney is the best as of now. Their advances in prompt engineering, the way to fine-tune styles etc are unmatched (despite the locked in discord scenario)

I guess SDXL might change the game, but that remains to be seen. And the magic of control-net is only on Automatic1111's webui. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Midjourney?

The discord bot. It has an API but needs a local interface like Stable Diffusion has automatic1111. No control net and no deforum are severe drawbacks.

Anyone in the creative industry benefits from image generators. I use them as a story writing tool - storyboarding. I use them for interior and architectural design, drawing crude sketches and feeding enough prompts to get the expected results. I use them for concept videos - deforum + controlnet + stable diffusion. Finally, it is an image editing tool - I use them to clean up architectural photos or reimagine the building/interiors.
