For us, It was near to perfect solution for our needs, really never faced any such major drawbacks. fewer minor things such inital set up for the cluster, streamline integration with the CI/CD pipeline can be a concern but with a proper consulation, it can be handled easily. For the deployment of our microservices apps, we use Azure Red Hat OpenShift. We are able to rapidly manage our containers and schedule application deployments thanks to this connectivity. It is relatively easy to monitor and manage our deployments thanks to the user interface's transparency and comprehensive picture of our apps, clusters, and resources. The fact that it runs on RHEL platform is the one I like. It's because RHEL platforms are known for the most optimized and efficient platform among all the linux subsidiaries. So, here the Kubernetes clusters are being made on RHEL platforms make it more robust and reliable. I haven't tried it out but the customer support is definitely going to be top notch. In kubernetes , when traffic goes out of a pod, it has to have its own ip addredd.Every service that's going out requires another ip.
