## Microanalytics Reviews
  ### 1. Simple and privacy focused web analytics solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharamveer p. | Application Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

What I like best about Microanalytics is its simplicity and privacy focused approach. The dashboard is clean, easy to understand, and provides the key website metrics without overwhelming users with unnecessary complexity. It is lightweight, fast, and gives useful insights into website traffic while respecting visitor privacy. I also appreciate how easy it is to set up and start tracking data.

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

One limitation of Microanalytics is that it does not offer the same level of advanced reporting and customization available in larger analytics platforms. For users who need highly detailed segmentation or complex analytics workflows, the feature set may feel somewhat limited. However, for straightforward analytics needs, it works very well.

  ### 2. Prioritizing user privacy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos I. | Branding Assistant, Airlines/Aviation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

Microanalytics is useful in letting me know that my website analytics are not violating data privacy laws such as GDPR. The clear and intuitive layout also ensures that website traffic data can be easily grasped at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

There appears to be a gap in e-commerce tracking capabilities within microanalytics. It gives fundamental traffic analytics but lacks elaborate conversion metrics and contrast measurements for user behavior inside the cart.

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microanalytics have been useful for obtaining simple web traffic data without disturbing users’ privacy at all. It is simple to deploy and use and the GDPR compliance means I am not on the wrong side of the law.

  ### 3. Beautiful privacy-based analytics solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jörg P. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

It's a simple and minimalist yet powerful analytics software. It does a perfect job for solopreneurs, smaller teams, and SMBs (cannot judge it for larger ones). Everything you'd typically need is there, squeezed into a beautiful UI. The team is super responsive and friendly in case you have questions or need help. And yeah, the best thing is the privacy-focused approach - we need more of these initiatives and products. BTW the tool is also powered by renewable energy - very nice!

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

Frankly, there's nothing relevant to add. I think the free plan was reduced at some point, but that's understandable - hosting these services simply costs money.

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This gave me insights regarding my website visits in a simple, intuitive way while also considering the privacy of these visitors.

  ### 4. All the things you need, but a lot easier to understand

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maarten M. | IT Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

I really like the simple user interface. It lets me focus on what I want to know, without requiring me to know a lot of how the underlying mechanisms work before I can get my insights.

Also, setting up was really a breeze. It required adding one line to my HTML files and that was it.

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

Measuring more than only page views, such as tracing campaigns or measuring goals, is supported, but it took me a bit more time to get that working.

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'd like to know how many people visit my personal blog, without having to do the complex setup of competing products to ensure they are GDPR-compliant. Microanalytics is more privacy-friendly to my visitors, so I had to do much less tinkering.

  ### 5. Perfect tool for small to medium websites and blogs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea D. | Sviluppatore Web, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

I love the simplicity, the focus on privacy and the fact that you only see what's actually useful for a basic website.
The interface is clean and it allows you to see things like page visits, landing pages, referrers, location up to the city, language, OS, browsers and screen resolutions. It also allows you to use custom messages that you can send from javascript.
Overall, a very good choice for an analytics service.

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

There isn't really anything I dislike about Microanalytics, but I can see how a big e-commerce might want a little more informations, by requesting access to more data, in order to improve their conversion rate.

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to get insights on my blog's users without disrupting their privacy

  ### 6. The future of analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Microanalytics?**

The internet is gradually collapsing under the weight of advertising, trackers, "commercial profiling", AI-generated content, paywalls, and shady corporate interests.

Which is why we committed to making CriticalChicken.com ad-free, AI-free, free to access -- and free from trackers! With analytics from Microanalytics we can proudly tell our visitors that we're not tracking them from site to site or collecting unneccessary information about them.

Not to mention Microanalytics is just as easy to set up as Google Analytics -- and, unlike Google, they don't bombard you with emails. I just get a handy, monthly summary email so I know how my site is performing.

And! The best part! Often "privacy-respecting" tools can be expensive -- I guess because they don't make as much money as privacy-invading tools! -- but Microanalytics' plans mean I won't have to start paying for it until my site's grown enough that I should be making an income from Patreon or Ko-fi. They've literally thought of everything.

**What do you dislike about Microanalytics?**

Literally the only downside I've found so far is that some ad-blockers and privacy tools still block Microanalytics -- I even have to disable AdGuard to access my dashboard. Although I don't know that this is something Microanalytics could have any influence over, it's just a minor annoyance.

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to develop and improve my website whilst keeping it as privacy-respecting and "un-Googled" as possible.

  ### 7. Microanalytics user review

**What problems is Microanalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**
