What do you like best about Merck?

Support systems for system tools and service request is very quick. Supportive staff and easy connectivity between teams. Lot of training and learning database readily available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very few areas regarding dislike observed - mostly few areas where staff was not proficient. Work systems can be updated as few technology is too old. Safety policies can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Merck solving and how is that benefiting you?

Describe the project or task Merck helped with:

I was a senior manager in the global clinical operations team at Merck. I had several internal direct and external and direct reports and had the opportunity to work with EMEA , FDA, and Health Canada submissions for phase 1-2 oncology clinical trials. I was overseeing the clinical research and project managers and making sure to deliver end to end for the entire logistics and operations of the clinical trials. What do you like best about Merck?

The team mates at Merck were excellent. Very friendly, responsive, and communicative. I had some meeting before 8 am and after hours such as 6 pm but other than that , work life balance was good. Flexibility was also good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Merck?

Pay was very less compared to the market value. They won't promote within and would rather let go of good talent. This was definitely a draw back. Very political environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Merck solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving and producing good rare disease and oncology drugs with a robust clinical operations system and great technology and clinical platforms such as share point, ETMF, veeva vault access and electronic regulatory binders for global sites.
