MDEX Reviews & Product Details

MDEX (Machine Data EXchange) is an AI platform for the manufacturing industry. Most factories cannot use AI because their machine data never leaves the machine. MDEX solves that first: OEM-agnostic hardware and software connect any CNC machine, robot or sensor to a single event-driven data layer - FANUC, Heidenhain, Haas, Okuma OSP and more - and stream every state change in real time. On that foundation MDEX runs the intelligence layer: automatic OEE, anomaly detection on machine signals, intelligent alerting, and an AI assistant you can ask questions in plain language. Everything is captured automatically, with no operator data entry, so your OEE and your AI are based on real events rather than assumptions. Modules: - AI Assistant - ask questions about your production data in natural language - Analytics - trend analysis and anomaly detection on machine and sensor signals - Dashboards - real-time machine status and efficiency across the whole machine park - Push Notifications - automatic alerts for CNC errors, malfunctions or custom triggers - Andon - live shop-floor status board - Production Management - planning and readiness from ERP-planned orders to start of production - Operator Presence - BLE-based setup and man-time tracking with operator console - Tool Data - tool information and offsets, editable from the platform - Traceability - full history of machine events and production states - API & Webhooks - standard API and event-driven integration with ERP - Reports - report builder with PDF/Excel export and e-mail scheduling Integrations: Epicor, MKG, Imnoo, and standalone setups with no upstream system. Proven in production: live on more than 80 CNC machines across Noord-Brabant and Limburg. Offices in Leuven (Belgium) and Someren (Netherlands).
