Platform teams publish the Terraform, OpenTofu, and Helm they already write to a catalog; developers and AI agents provision from it with policy enforced before every deploy. Self-hosted or managed. Platform and operations teams encode their security, compliance, and cost requirements into pre-approved modules using the IaC tools they already use. Developers and AI agents discover and provision those modules from a central catalog, and policy is checked before anything is created. Built-in secrets management, monitoring, and attribute-based access control cover AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. Massdriver generates an ephemeral pipeline per deploy from each module's own tooling, so there are no standing CI/CD pipelines to maintain. The UI is clean and performant, and the view showing how things are connected and designed is very helpful. It integrates with numerous different IaC tools, allowing you to bring any of your existing config to Massdriver easily. Pricing is fair and reasonable for a robust platform like this. The Massdriver guys were super helpful with getting us up and running on their platform. Also, we were able to use Cursor to help speed the learning process up for our team by pointing Cursor (or any decent AI platform) at the Massdriver documentation and giving it some guidelines with our existing Terraform. After a few refinements, we were able to get some bundles ready and working. Massdriver has been super helpful as a platform for keeping track of our infrastructure and make sure everything is deployed and managed in a sustainable and repeatable way. Developers don't need to know anything about our IaC, which is a huge win for us. **What do you dislike about Massdriver?** There is a learning curve for developing your IaC modules into Massdriver bundles. Configuration can be tough to get a hang of. Authentication to the web frontend requires Google or GitHub. **What problems is Massdriver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Massdriver allows us to build a catalog of infrastructure and visually displays using a clean UI how pieces of the infrastructure fit together. ### 2. Its intuitive visual interface, seamless Kubernetes integration, and zero-downtime deployments allowed us to scale confidently and reduce manual configurations. What used to take us weeks or months — especially around setting up microservices and environments — now takes just a few days. The platform empowered our team to focus more on our product and less on DevOps. **What do you dislike about Massdriver?** While the core functionality is excellent, we initially struggled with setting up multiple front-end interfaces and assigning custom domains to each service. We had to manually edit ingress YAML files, which was manageable with help from the Massdriver team — but a built-in UI or module for multi-domain setups would make the platform even more powerful. **What problems is Massdriver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Massdriver helped us streamline our infrastructure setup after a difficult migration from AWS to Azure. Setting up Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and managing multiple microservices was initially slow and error-prone. Massdriver automated much of this, reducing setup time from weeks to days. It also allowed us to support multi-region expansion and scale our platform more easily for enterprise clients. ### 3. It has helped me with deployments, secrets management, provisioning, environments management all whilst ensuring best security practices. As the Head of Engineering at a small tech startup it has helped me optimise my time and focus on other important tasks without compromising on the quality of our backend infrastructure. I also like the fact that you can make suggestions on new features and vote for suggestions by other users, that helps Massdriver to shape the tool in a way that suits all of their clients. **What do you dislike about Massdriver?** I have had a few issues when provisioning some services and the errors that I was displayed were not the most useful for me at the time, however the team at Massdriver are super prompt with responding and helping me resolve any issues. They have also been working hard to address some of these issues and I am sure the platform will become more and more stable as they are always working hard to improve it and listen to user's feedback. **What problems is Massdriver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Massdriver helped me provision a Kubernetes cluster with minimum learning curve, at the time I was not very experienced with Kubernetes and I knew that it is quite complex to maintain a whole cluster without an experienced DevOps team to support you. However Massdriver helped me set up a new cluster in no time as well as improving our infrastructure by configuring all VPNs, security groups and communication between all of my services with minimal effort. ### 4. It's remarkable to see such a robust foundational framework in a platform that's still in its early stages. The open-source modules model stands out, promising flexibility and growth. The tech team has been nothing short of a revelation. Their responsiveness and commitment go beyond just offering a tool—they've truly become our partners. With an extensive feature set and their keenness to adapt to unique use-cases, they've seamlessly integrated with our vision. Setting up all these resources manually with terraform can be incredibly time consuming so to be able to offload some of that is awesome, and they also do a great job of giving base templates. **What do you dislike about Massdriver?** Given that it's a new product, there's still some basic difficulties in setup, without a clear walkthrough, but they do an incredible hands-on introduction which is more effective than any guide. **What problems is Massdriver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Massdriver automates parts of our devops process, making it easy to spin up and down deployments of cloud infrastructure with one click. ### 7.
