"Amazing experience"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown has been very helpful, particularly with its patch management capabilities. The ability to deploy updates and remotely restart computers directly from the console when a software update is pending is extremely efficient and saves significant administrative time. The centralized management interface simplifies oversight and reduces manual intervention. At this time, I have not experienced any issues or complaints with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

One area where ThreatDown could improve is user communication functionality. Currently, there is no built in feature that allows administrators to send direct messages or notifications to end users from the console. Having the ability to push alerts, maintenance notifications, or security related messages to users would enhance administrative efficiency and improve overall incident response coordination. "Peace of mind in a fast and easy to use package, now with even more features!"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

We have recently integrated MDR (Managed Detection and Response) and it has been a godsend. While I can still use the Nebula console to manage my endpoints, with MDR I'm less worried about missing anything that might cause harm to our company. They also revamped the Nebula console so everything looks and feels more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

I still don't have a GUI for schedule scans, but I have been told it is getting worked on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Angela Kelleher of ThreatDown

Hi Roberto!

We're happy to hear that you find our customer support easy to contact and appreciate the follow-ups. We'll certainly take your feedback about the scheduled scan GUI and Malwarebytes removal into consideration for future improvements. It's great to know that ThreatDown is helping to keep you safe from exterior attacks and teaching you and your end users to be better technology users. Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing ThreatDown!

Best regards.

What do you like best about ThreatDown?

The new updates sometimes slows down the product, but all in all it still does what it's supposed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

"Effective macOS Security with Language Barrier"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I find that ThreatDown is a very good solution for macOS clients to enhance security. It's good that users are not constantly bothered with notifications about scans being performed. ThreatDown works in the background and only requires the user's attention when it is really necessary. This makes it a valuable tool for me. Additionally, the initial setup is simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The client on macOS does not yet offer all the features available on Windows. Additionally, it is only localized in English, and there are no notifications, reports, or other things in other languages. Everything is in English. This is very disadvantageous for some customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Angela Kelleher of ThreatDown

Hi Johannes,

Thank you for your positive feedback on ThreatDown's feature set and performance on Macs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of browser support on macOS. We are actively working on enhancing our product to provide a more comprehensive solution for your security needs.

Many thanks,

Angela

"Effortless Security Management with Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown is a fantastic product that we use daily for around 27 clients. Across our client base, we use the full range of ThreatDown products, including Email Security, DNS Filtering, Patch Management, EDR, MDR, and more.

Customer support is quick to respond and resolves issues as efficiently as any support desk can. The product itself is easy to deploy and manage, with clear and flexible policies available through the OneView portal.

While we don’t currently use many integrations, I did set up the Microsoft Teams integration for a period, and it was straightforward to configure and worked as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Sadly, ThreatDown is sometimes too effective and can be a little over-zealous with its blocking. We have also experienced some performance issues on end-user machines; however, ThreatDown support has been excellent and is working closely with us to identify and resolve the problems. "Suprisingly and refreshingly amazing"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

It streamlines everything into one place and makes it much easier for our small team to monitor and manage a large number of devices. Installation on new devices is super simple, integration is was ridiculously easy, there isn't a single day that goes by that it isn't being used, and every member of their support team has been a class act. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

I don't really have any complaints about Threatdown. I guess the UI could use a little bit of work to make things simpler? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Angela Kelleher of ThreatDown

Hi Daniel!

We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown has been such a valuable asset to your team! Thank you for the positive feedback and for highlighting the ease of installation and integration, as well as the proactive support from our team. We appreciate your suggestion about the UI and will definitely take it into consideration for future improvements.

Best regards.

"Malwarebytes EDR, MDR, and Email Security"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Malwarebytes is very simple to use, and the interface looks clean and gets updated often. It’s also easy to roll out across all our computers, and it alerts me right away if something suspicious is happening on a machine. The Managed Detection and Response service has honestly helped me sleep better because I know someone is watching our systems around the clock.

Compared to other tools we’ve used, Malwarebytes has been more effective and much easier to manage. It really feels like a “set it and forget it” solution. On the rare occasions when I’ve needed support, their team has responded quickly and solved the issue without any hassle.

We also recently added their Email Security service, and it’s been working great. We’re seeing very few false positives, and managing it is extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The products is expensive but is in line with similar products and I am happy with all the features I receive with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good, highly-detailed visibility into managed systems and their security health."
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown provides a single site where security software for Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices can be managed. Not only is the state of the protection agent easily ascertained, but information about the hardware, software, and running state of the system are also available. Agents can be easily configured and installed via EXE, MSI, PKG, and DMG, as well as through download links and store apps. Customer support is quick to respond and has quality, detailed answers, in the rare event you need to use their services.

This software has support for differing detection profiles, with the ability to exclude certain executables (e.g.: cryptomining apps, when they are authorized and not part of some external attack) from detection, on selected systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

iOS and Android devices are often difficult to identify, and individual Windows/Linux/MacOS devices are identified only by system name, which is often random. iOS devices frequently show as uncontactable in the web console, even when actively in use. Care must be taken, frequently, to rename systems in the web console, to know which ones they actually are. This is most important when default system names are not specifically altered ahead of time, prior to agent installation.

Mac devices require admin permission for system settings alterations to allow the software to run correctly. It would be lovely if this happened automatically, as part of the installation process, but it doesn't. Expect to take 2-4 extra steps once the basic installation is complete before Mac OS is working with ThreatDown properly. Most of these steps will be spelled out when you install, but when updates require new permissions, you'll need directly console access, a savvy user, or some sort or remote access/assistance package to get it working properly again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
