What do you like best about MakeHuman?

MakeHuman makes your life easier if you need 3D charactes and don't have the time or experience to create them from scratch.

You just need to click and move some sliders to see how your 3D mesh changes, making it so easy to create the base character you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MakeHuman?

The only "bad" thing about this kind of software is that you can't fully customize your models. You have a wide range of options, but things like scars, wrinkles, or the many little details you character could have you will have to do them by hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MakeHuman:

Well, you won't need much experience in 3D modeling software to use MakeHuman, but is good to know about file formats you can export and then import into your 3D suite(3D Max, Blender, Maya, etc), because that's the olny kind of knowledge you will need to take advantage of this software. May be some rigging knowledge will help too.

I stopped using MakeHuman because I aquired the experience to create my own characters from scratch in 3D Studio Max and Blender, but not because it is bad software. It is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
