What do you like best about Mailinator?

1. Mailinator makes testing more comfortable for Devs and QA. It helps in different testing like Load testing and email Testing.

2. It offers two types of Inboxes Public Inbox and Private Inbox. We can update our privacy accordingly.

3. There is a time-saving feature in Mailinator, which is the Direct mail search option. We can search and filter out our mail and check messages.

4. We receive Emails right after triggering without any delay.

5. The Interaction with Email is extremely good. Users can view Email in different interpretations like HTML, JSON, RAW, and LINKS.

6. We can trial the free version of Mailinator and It offers different premium subscription plans to choose from later on.

7. We can multiple testing domains in our account to test.

8. We QA user Mailinator daily in our work for both Manual and Automation.

9. Mailinator provides various blogs/documentions to get familiar with.

What do you dislike about Mailinator?

The only dislikes about Mailinator are the customer support provided by the team. Sometimes it was late in resolving queries and In the Private Inbox, occasionally the mail receiving will be a few seconds delayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mailinator solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Dev team and QA team test lots of messages like 2FA, delivery verification, One-time password recovery, etc., through Emails in their software lifecycle. This process is stressful, and time-consuming, to overcome this problem Mailinator hosts features to handle this kind of problem by providing Email software where we get emails into this system and the team can Automate every test case and feature with ease and less time-consuming. The Email workflow now become more effortless.

This is benefiting me in my daily work, Where I need to test different Email delivery like OTPs, Account creation, updates, deletion, and Loyalty programs where I need to verify every mail Manually and check the details, After using Mailinator I can automate every check by Integration Mailinato with my testing software. Occasionally, a test employee needs to be created for an outside company to create a bridge to one of our systems and instead of creating a whole company email account for them, we can use Mailinator as their account for setup access. "A useful service to try new services and newsletters before polluting your own mailbox"

What do you like best about Mailinator?

It's really easy to use and I've been using it for years now, it's a very reliable service that has proved its value over the years.

Even though you're creating a "public" temporary mailbox, using the free account, you're still able to create a really long a distinct alias so that the account is way harder for others to find and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailinator?

It would be great to have the opportunity of having a small number of "private" temporary mailboxes on the free tier.

Some websites have Mailinator as "blacklisted", as an invalid email which isn't great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mailinator:

It's true that you can do a bit of research and try other similar services, but the truth is that Mailinator can be used for free by most users so you probably don't need to spend time looking for other alternatives. I use Mailinator to try new services and subscribe to some newsletters and access their real value before polluting my own mailbox with SPAM emails.

What do you like best about Mailinator?

We can you mailinator for bulk or single mail. I usually use mailinator for testing some of the functionality of my microservices. We don't require creating new temporary accounts again and again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Filtering Unwanted Emails"

What do you like best about Mailinator?

It is easy to use and set-up. Pretty self explanatory.. And if you can't quite figure something out there are plenty of tutorials to be found on-line. What is really nice is all emails from your companies domain can come to one mailbox. Sounds a bit creepy but if you have a customer service center it's wicked nice to see all the emails that come in, especially when people are out sick or on vaca. What do you dislike about Mailinator?

It's a bit "Big Brotherly". If someone in your organization wants to keep tabs on all email coming in it gets creepy. It is kind-of easy to become a spammer/phisher with this service and if you use the free service they make it really clear that it is a public, free NO PRIVACY service. Recommendations to others considering Mailinator:

If you are reluctant to give your personal email address out or work for a company that has a large support network and needs to keep abreast of all incoming mailing Mailinator will fit the bill. What problems is Mailinator solving and how is that benefiting you?

On the business end, I have already stated it is great for call centers and large customer service organizations. All the emails can come into one box so if some one is out sick or on vacation the ball isn't dropped on a potential customer or one in need. On the personal side it is great when you do not want to use your personal email address, but you have to "sign-up" for something so you use an email from Mailinator.
