All of the tools are listed right on the main page and you just have to click what you want it to do for you. If you want something custom or can't find it, Raina is easy to talk to and will help. It's also free which is great. It makes quality products in seconds. **What do you dislike about MagicSchool AI?** Occasionally it doesn't go as in depth on the skills you are looking to asses. It also won't write reading passages with questions for standards. That would be helpful, but also AI has limitations. **What problems is MagicSchool AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is saving me time and money. I can quickly make products that I can't find for free anywhere else. ### 2. They even have customizable tools that school districts can make to better support teachers with their specific initiatives. **What do you dislike about MagicSchool AI?** It can feel overwhelming with all of the tools, so I know most teachers just end up using Rania (the AI chat) or finding 1 or 2 tools they can use and stick to those. I feel like teachers are missing out on all the possibilities it has to offer. Although, they do offer a Tool Recommendation feature, which can be very helpful. **What problems is MagicSchool AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** What is it not solving? It helps me unpack standards, create aligned and rigorous questions, provide customizable scaffolding and support for my students (like text leveling and EB vocab support), and creating targeted informational texts that can be used for a specific purpose in class when I can find exactly what I need online. ### 3. I love how the feedback feels tailored—not like a generic comment generator. My students appreciate the specificity, and it’s made me feel more connected to each assignment, even when managing large class sizes. **What do you dislike about MagicSchool AI?** While Magic School AI does a great job with general feedback and adaptable rubrics, it can’t always pick up on the subtle, unique ways in which each student expresses their thoughts and creativity. A teacher can recognize a student's voice, style, and areas of growth across different assignments, adjusting feedback and teaching strategies to best fit that student's needs. AI can be a helpful guide but doesn’t possess the same flexibility in supporting highly personalized learning experiences. **What problems is MagicSchool AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problem: Teachers often spend hours grading assignments and providing individual feedback, especially on writing. With large class sizes, this becomes overwhelming and can lead to burnout. Solution: Magic School AI automates the initial stages of feedback by analyzing students’ writing for grammar, structure, coherence, and clarity. It also offers suggestions for improvement in real time. This helps teachers save hours of manual grading, allowing them to focus on higher-level feedback and meaningful interactions with students.
