## Maestro Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Maestro free, or does it offer a free trial?

Yes. According to G2 data, Maestro offers a free plan with limited features. Users can upgrade to paid plans for additional capabilities. Visit the seller's official pricing page to compare plan options and features.

How much does Maestro cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Maestro pricing in 2026 starts at $125.00 and can reach $250.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Maestro's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Maestro pricing best suited for?

Maestro's pricing is best suited for small businesses and individual developers who benefit most from the free local tier, which G2 reviewers across IT, computer software, banking, and healthcare consistently praise for zero-cost mobile automation without coding expertise. Mid-market teams in financial services, banking, and health tech gravitate toward Maestro's cloud plans, using CI integration and parallel runs for regression and release testing. The $125/month web tier suits teams with web-only needs, while the $250/month mobile cloud tier fits mid-market mobile teams running nightly or release-gated suites. Enterprise-scale organizations with compliance or managed testing needs align with Maestro's contact-for-pricing enterprise tier.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Maestro?

Maestro's free local tier includes the CLI, Maestro Studio, GPT integration, AI commands, and deep flow analysis, covering full local test authoring and debugging at no cost. Maestro's paid cloud plans, starting at $125/month for web and $250/month for Android or iOS, add hosted devices, parallel execution, unlimited cloud test runs, rich reporting, and CI/PR integration. G2 reviewers frequently highlight that the free tier is genuinely capable for local workflows, but cloud features like test history, scheduled runs, and Slack reporting require a paid plan. Enterprise pricing adds SSO, dedicated support, and fully managed test cases.

Is Maestro considered good value for its pricing?

Maestro's free local tier delivers strong value for individual developers and small teams, with CLI, Studio, AI commands, and GPT access at no cost. G2 reviewers consistently praise this, noting it removes the high barrier of tools like Appium. However, Maestro's cloud pricing draws repeated criticism: multiple G2 reviewers across small businesses and mid-market segments flag the $250/month Android/iOS cloud tier as expensive, with one e-learning reviewer calling it a corporate-only feature. High ratings (mostly 4.5–5.0) alongside cost complaints signal a premium tool that delivers on simplicity and reliability, but where cloud capabilities remain financially out of reach for smaller or non-profit teams.

"Increase Confidence In Our Native iOS & Android App Releases With Super Easy E2E Testing"

5/5

What do you like best about Maestro?

- Super easy setup to test native iOS and Android E2E flows

- Easy writeable and readable E2E tests

- Implementation works super fast, very easy to set up MVP and start experiences with Maestro E2E testing

- Open source an running it locally does not need big bunch of money

- Cloud support to have history and automation on E2E test runs

- Slack customer support is amazing, fast and skilled Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestro?

- Pricing of Cloud support makes it a corporate feature, hard to use it for small, non-profit projects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maestro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest user base is on our native platform. Before Maestro, struggeled with having a consistent E2E setup for our iOS & Android app. Since Maestro, every PR and every release is fully E2E tested and gives a big bunch of confidence in releasing new versions without introducing bugs. "Promising Idea, but Web Automation Keeps Overwriting Steps and Breaking Tests"

2/5

What do you like best about Maestro?

The idea and general direction of what it was trying to do were very promising. I can see that it should be simple, with easy-to-write automation across several different platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestro?

In actually trying to build the automation, specifically around web automation, the application would add in its own steps or overwrite what I was doing, and my tests would just not work at all. Making it pretty much unusable for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maestro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sadly it did not solve any problems for us. The Mobile App Testing functionality was on par with our existing solutions so there is no point in us switching - pricing wise Maestro is more costly than our solution (In house + 3rd Party). We will definitely revisit the solution in the future as I am sure future updates and fixes will make it better, but for now it is not the right fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
