## LiveSchool Reviews
  ### 1. LiveSchool, a great tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

I like using LiveSchool because it has multiple functions that make anyone who wants to give some content or a course to take advantage of it in a very satisfactory way, it also makes the students involved have the desire to commit much more to their educational process. Since the system offers you the option of giving incentives to students through points that they can earn with small tasks. I really like to use it in my work when we have to train staff in a certain subject, or when we teach a course, because it allows me to monitor their progress and commitment.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

Sometimes it can crash when logging in on some mobile devices, or it gets stuck and one is forced to restart the phone. It is much better to use it from the computer, since sometimes the same application becomes slow on the phones.

**Recommendations to others considering LiveSchool:**

I recommend the use of LiveSchool both for educational entities and for anyone who wants to start teaching a course, either in a company or on a personal level, since it makes your work much easier and saves you time since you do not have to be constantly gathered to validate that the information is arriving correctly.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my work we use LiveSchool to give training courses to staff, it helps us to have detailed reports of the evolution and to know if the staff is actually acquiring the information. With this software we not only limit ourselves to posting information or giving a master class, but also, you can add interactivity to your meetings, you can place small tasks to strengthen the information and thus validate if indeed the teacher who gives the class is is explaining in the correct way. A great benefit that I find is that the interface is very friendly for both the teacher and the students.

  ### 2. know and learn from this system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

I love the versatility of the platform. There are so many functions that work well together. The software is well integrated and well thought out. The path from one page to another is logical and intuitive. Every time I had a problem with liveschool, I would get a response quickly. And they are also eager to accept suggestions.
As an alternative school, we still give grades and needed a platform that would allow for professional looking reports. This software also allows you to optimize and customize the reports according to the preferences of each teacher. Fast, highly flexible and detailed model deployment. Easy to use, you can quickly create different what-if scenarios or custom dashboards to keep track of. I like how easy it is to use grade placement, find grades, set parameters, and make changes at the student level.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

I really don't like the feature that moves all assignments from one year to the next. I change assignments every year and now I have to delete them as we go from one grading period to the next. It can be cumbersome to adjust the grading scales, although I don't know if it's a software issue or an administrative issue at the school I currently serve.

**Recommendations to others considering LiveSchool:**

They just use a different email address if privacy is desired.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an individual instructor, working with a collective of providers, this platform is seamlessly matched to meet the record keeping required by our parents and students. I often need to send messages to 400-500 recipients that should be divided into additional messages through my business email account. It's nice to have a place to upload notes sent home and to be able to communicate with parents and allow them to see their children's grades.

  ### 3. LiveSchool Could Be Better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MELANIE C. | Teacher

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

I like that you can track behaviors. It allows you to identify issues easily.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

It is not as user-friendly as I would like. I can use paper and pencil to log the same information more efficiently. The student-view is not helpful for students to truly understand where they lack because they have to scroll so far to see their points.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track behaviors; however, student behavior has not improved overall after using it.

  ### 4. App Won't Hold Your Login

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly C. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

I love that you can customize the point system to your specific policy. This can be done school-wide or specific to your classroom. Points can be attached to certain behaviors that you want to support or see more of. We are using this strictly as a PBS system.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

The app does not hold login credentials. It would be much more useful if we were able to actually use the app on our phones. Points could be awarded in the hallway or outside. Not being able to do this is a huge opportunity missed as this is when students need the positive reinforcement.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LiveSchool is great for positive behavior reinforcement. You can have both school-wide events that students "purchase" with points or classroom specific items and events that students can use earned points for. The real problem comes in when teachers can only remain logged in to the system via computer. The app logs you off every time your phone goes to sleep. This may be due partially to our single-sign-in system, BUT it renders it useless outside the classroom.

  ### 5. Easy implementation, communication, and monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaiah C. | Director of Instructional Design and School Leadership , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

The best thing LiveSchool offers are the paychecks, the ability to modify categories to fit your school needs, and provides a space to easily track trends- negative and positive.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

The app is biggest issue. It crashes often and stalls a lot which limits what you can do with it as a classroom management tool in real time.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to objectively determine what types of behavior issues we have, what population is most impacted, and where those things are taking place. As a result, we can better understand and solve problems.

  ### 6. Liveschool - Motivation for All!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashleigh D. | Art Educator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about LiveSchool?**

My favorite part of using Liveschool is that it allows me to reward students who are exhibiting desired behavior. It is also a polite nudge to those who are not. By implementing a reward system that runs quietly in the background, Liveschool can be implemented for all grade levels. In addition, the point system is independent of any reward system - allowing schools to select rewards for certain point levels and consequences for points lost.

**What do you dislike about LiveSchool?**

If I could change anything about Liveschool, it would be to make finding individual student reports easier. As it is, I feel like I have to jump through hoops to get there, and I often forget the pathway.

**Recommendations to others considering LiveSchool:**

Use it constantly. Students get into a routine of earning points for positive behavior.

**What problems is LiveSchool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Liveschool is solving behavior issues through an additional layer of classroom management. I can see that students are happy to receive points, and, on the flip side, try to act accordingly so that they do not lose points. Liveschool is also a way to gather data about the biggest behavior issues within your building, and to address them as you see fit to the whole.
