"Enhanced Linux Experience !!!"
What do you like best about Linux Mint?

Linux Mint has a beautiful UI that runs under a stable ubuntu version (22.04). The EOL support is now until 2027, providing excellent user security. The Out Of the Box software manager allows access to the most useful and popular apps, along with user reviews and the latest software versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linux Mint?

The OS is huge in terms of sizing and requires a reasonably bigger machine to run. The OS also has a reasonably smaller community than Ubuntu and runs a version or two older than it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Its Ubuntu, but better!"
What do you like best about Linux Mint?

It's an upgraded version of Ubuntu by the Linux Community. Compared to ubuntu, it contains more open-source applications and more multimedia codec support. But the real change as compared to ubuntu is the GUI change, which is quite similar to Windows 7/Vista themes. Its been released 16 years ago, yet updates are being done periodically by the community, which makes the OS catch up with modern technological advancements and support for new hardware enhancements as well. Talking about performance, Linux Mint provides better performance and an easy GUI experience as compared to Ubuntu. Its mainly used by beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linux Mint?

First and foremost, not all applications that work on ubuntu will not work on Linux Mint. There is a lack of a device manager. Even though it is a community-driven OS, the community is not large as compared to Ubuntu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
