They actively sought feedback - and still do - about features and functionality. For us this meant that we were able to help shape the module into a tool that met our requirements. I continue to be impressed by how the team endeavour to make tools that are useful in the real world by engaging with end users. **What do you dislike about Licenseware?** For me one area needs improvement - excluding assets when calculating compliance. For e.g. excluding Dev installs when calculating SQL Server compliance. A rule based approach would be the ideal solution. **What problems is Licenseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our primary requirement was for a license repository to replace a spreadsheet - Licenseware met this almost immediately, quickly improving our records, workflow and license compliance. This continues to improve as new features (such as allocations) are added to the License and Contracts Manager module. ### 2. It's great to see more data like applications, usage, and virtualization. I appreciate the way it helps us solve the problem of using three or more sources to get data by only needing one. The Licenseware Neo AI assistant is really helpful in analyzing data and providing optimization possibilities. The software is easy to use, deploy, and manage, with a great UI interface. I also love that it's a SaaS solution with a very small, lightweight agent. The initial setup was very easy, just needing to register, download the agent, and start the deployment. **What do you dislike about Licenseware?** For now, only a couple of integrations are possible. Mostly, everything can be done via CSV or Excel import, but I hope that in the future there will be more 1-click integrations available. **What problems is Licenseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Licenseware to consolidate devices from multiple sources into one place, enhancing visibility with detailed data on applications and usage. I feel really proud of what we've been able to produce together. **What do you dislike about Licenseware?** None really, it's been great working with them. **What problems is Licenseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** We identified a gap in the market, which is for a publicly available IT Asset Management maturity assessment, aligned to ISO19770-1, the International Standard for IT Asset Management, which would allow IT Asset Managers to assess their process and capability maturity, identify process and capability improvement opportunities, and allow them to benchmark their improvements over time. Many consultancies have their own in-house assessment, but the Licenseware Self-Assessment Service is available to all IT Asset Managers who may wish to assess their maturity, and is also available to be white-labelled by consultancies and tool vendors. Alignment to ISO19770-1 is key - it means that we are confident we have created the most comprehensive assessment available, which is fully aligned to industry best practice. It is easy to use and the customer support from Licenseware has been exceptional. They quickly respond to feedback and suggestions and have implemented and prioritised new features which support our use of the platform. It was really quick and easy to implement and we're constantly looking for new opporutnities to use the platform more. **What do you dislike about Licenseware?** Licenseware supports licence management for a small number of vendors really well. It simplifies the management of the more difficult vendors like Microsoft and Oracle but doesn't have the same breadth of coverage as other competitive products. I prefer the Licenseware approach as the difficult vendors which are covered represent most of the cost and complexity and the vendors which are not covered are typically fairly easy to manage without a product. **What problems is Licenseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Licenseware when undertaking software audit and licence review engagements for our clients.
