LessonWriter as another tool for lesson planning **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** David L. | English Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2019 **What do you like best about LessonWriter?** LessonWriter is a nice site that allows the user to create, store, use and collaborate on lesson plans. Being able to create different classes is a plus. It's not difficult to figure out. There are many choices to enhance lessons with literacy connections, adding tasks, and designing the lesson as a whole. **What do you dislike about LessonWriter?** At first, it feels a bit overwhelming to figure it all out. This does not feel different than other programs that do similar designs. Also, when building the lessons, at times it feels a bit daunting to put everything together to create the entire lesson. **Recommendations to others considering LessonWriter:** Since the basic plan is free, I would recommend signing up and playing around with the program/site. There are a lot of features to use and implement with lessons. **What problems is LessonWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is a good site for beginning teachers and those teachers that are looking for a way to organize and solidify their lesson planning. It is a good system to use to have them created, in place, designed with tasks connected and additional resources. I would recommend this for mentor teachers to suggest to new teachers. ### 2. Being a senior software developer I also give the training to newcomer in our organization. So to keep it's classroom management like examination or material posting are some of the good features here. **What do you dislike about LessonWriter?** I am currently using the free plan and haven't found anything I dislike but for premium plan I believe the price is high. **Recommendations to others considering LessonWriter:** I would recommend this to all those who are educators because sharing resource, managing curriculum etc are the great features of it. Give a try to basic version and if you like then you can upgrade any time. **What problems is LessonWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, I give training to freshers in my organization so to do all the virtual classroom related task I use this platform. It is easy to use and saves a lot of my time. ### 3.
