LegalWord365 Reviews & Product Details

LegalWord365 is a specialized document automation solution developed by Documentaal, tailored specifically for the legal sector. Operating seamlessly within Microsoft Word and Microsoft 365, it enables legal professionals to automate the creation of court documents, contracts, and legal correspondence efficiently and accurately. One of the standout features of LegalWord365 is its direct integration with case management systems such as LegalSense, TimeWriter, and Kluwer. This integration allows for the automatic retrieval of client and case data, ensuring that documents are populated with accurate information without the need for manual data entry. This not only saves time but also reduces the risk of errors that can occur when transferring information manually. Compliance is a critical concern in the legal industry, and LegalWord365 addresses this by ensuring that all generated documents adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA). The software automatically includes necessary disclaimers and required mentions, helping law firms maintain compliance and uphold their professional standards. The automation capabilities of LegalWord365 extend to various types of legal documents. For instance, when drafting summonses, the software can automatically set the appropriate court, retrieve party data from the case management system, calculate required deadlines, and add compliance disclaimers. This process can save legal teams an average of 45 minutes per summons. In contract management, LegalWord365 offers a clause library that integrates seamlessly into the document creation process. This feature allows for the inclusion of variable provisions tailored to specific contract types, ensures automatic version control, and generates signature blocks as needed. On average, this functionality can save approximately 30 minutes per contract. For statements of defense, the software ensures that numbering is compliant with court guidelines, production references are added automatically, party data remains consistent throughout the document, and formatting aligns with court requirements. This can result in an average time saving of 60 minutes per statement. LegalWord365 also emphasizes the importance of centralized template management. By maintaining a single source of truth for pleadings, court documents, and contract templates, the software prevents the proliferation of outdated or inconsistent templates. This centralization ensures that all legal professionals within a firm are using the most current and compliant documents. Integration possibilities with LegalWord365 are extensive. The software works in conjunction with Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook and SharePoint Online, as well as other systems such as iManage, Dynamics 365, and Oracle. This wide range of integrations ensures that LegalWord365 can fit seamlessly into existing workflows and IT infrastructures. Support is a key component of the LegalWord365 offering. Documentaal provides an extensive knowledge center with clear guides, instructional videos, and over a hundred knowledge articles to assist users. Additionally, personal consultants and 24/7 support are available to address any questions or issues that may arise. In summary, LegalWord365 is designed to bring order and efficiency to the process of legal document creation. By automating repetitive tasks, ensuring compliance, and integrating with existing systems, it allows legal professionals to focus more on substantive legal work and less on administrative tasks, ultimately enhancing the quality and consistency of legal documents produced by law firms.
