Kobiton is a hub that offers mobile devices in the cloud with the purpose of being able to perform automated or manual tests on them. Its hub is stable and the devices work well. Additionally, it offers some tools like inspector and dev tools for test automation. Its performance is good compared to competitors like BrowserStack or TestMu AI. What do you like best about Kobiton?

Kobiton is very easy to use and it has a very easy way to integrate with automation frameworks. We can easily access mobile phones with a UI. When we purchase a single plan it allows to use manual testing as well as automation testing and very easy to implement with appium inspector for element capturing. We used that tool in our day to day testing activities. The customer support also in satisfactory level and they giving response within few hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kobiton?

The main dislike point is they have time based plans and when we move on to large automations we need to buy expensive plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kobiton?

The Kobiton device library is vast with configurations covering all of our device testing needs.

The tool was so easy to roll out to our organization that I have done it for another group when I joined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kobiton?

The only challenge that I have experienced with Kobiton is with reporting related to usage. Some of the reporting I would like to see around usage per month, or per user is not available to me as a user and I have to make a specific request to customer service.

I like being able to have mobile emulators of multiple different devices to ensure the designs that I make work across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was rather difficult to understand how to use devices, especially when I wanted to switch back and forth devices. You would have to wait for the devices to register that you had already checked out that device several minutes ago, just to go back to it. There was also somewhat of a lag when I would use devices.
