It provides all possible options and logging while the container is live. We have connected the docker registry to our production network to check the status of the container and other parameters through kitematic. **What do you dislike about Kitematic?** Kitematic doesn't work on linux machine and causes frequent crashes. Other than that we didnt have any negative reviews with the kitematic software. The advent of docker has completely gotten rid of the "It works on my machine argument". If an environment is containerized and uploaded to docker it will work on all platforms, irrespective of which OS one is on. Docker can be intimidating at best for newbies and Kitematic is the silver bullet that bridges this gap. Once docker is installed, users can run any container from the docker hub or spin up their own docker containers without touching the docker command line service at all. This comes in handy because, I as a person that understands zero rust and that knows no docker commands can easily setup and run a rust service not only in my laptop but also in my server. Kitematic is the monopoly when it comes to docker GUIs. Kitematic has native integration with docker hub and any major software project that is dockerized can be run in a matter of seconds to minutes via kitematic ( depending on your internet connection). Managing running docker containers is simplified manifold by Kitematic, it is easy to spin up container, see the mounted volumes, inspect open ports, it also gives people an option to shell into the container with the click of a button. So if you're new to docker, this does all the heavy-lifting. **What do you dislike about Kitematic?** The lack of Linux support, currently Kitematic is available only for windows and Mac **Recommendations to others considering Kitematic:** Do not think twice, get Kitematic. **What problems is Kitematic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using docker without learning the docker command line interface ### 4. Very easy to update containers status to stop and restart, instead of using the command line. ### 5. No more remembering complicated flags for commands. **What do you dislike about Kitematic?** The application occasionally experiences hiccups when running and the UI is not as fluid when it comes to editing configs, but certainly better than managing yaml files. **Recommendations to others considering Kitematic:** This product is definitely worth a try.
