What do you like best about KEY ESG?

KEY ESG have been instrumental in helping us reach some of our ESG goals. Their knowledge and understanding of the ESG market has helped us to successfully collate ESG data from our portfolio companies in a timely and efficient manner. The direct communication with portfolio companies has meant the process was simplified and as pain free as possible for each company. The portal is easy to use and there is always someone on hand to assist when needed. They are constantly developing the platform to fit the ESG market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KEY ESG?

This platform is a seamless experience with intuitive navigation.

KEY ESG has significantly eased the burden of our data collection and reporting.

I encountered some issues that are common with any software.

When implementing any software, continuous refinement and adjustments are essential. That's normal.

"Using KEY ESG for the first time to provide carbon data for the group"

What do you like best about KEY ESG?

For me the most helpful bit about KEY ESG is the easy to use interface which breaks down complex carbon reporting into simple steps with easy-to-use instructions and explanations of assumptions that can be used. The quick response of KEY ESG support was also very appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KEY ESG?

The only thing I disliked was that my authenticator stopped working and there was no way to reset it without going to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is KEY ESG solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm a financial reporting accountant whose company was acquired by a larger group that uses KEY ESG. They require ESG data from us and I was responsible for filling out what they needed through KEY ESG. The templates for employee surveys etc were very helpful and made the process a lot easier. The KEY ESG platform has enabled us to establish a process for recording ESG data and the team have provided key guidance, especially in the difficult area of Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon accounting, so that we could turn what seemed like an overwhelming task into small, achievable steps. What do you like best about KEY ESG?

KEY ESG stands out from other ESG software platforms because of its dedicated customer support and user friendly platform that makes ESG data easy to collect and action. We have been impressed with the service we have received over the past two years and the developments that the platform has undergone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KEY ESG?

There are features that we would like to see developed in the KEY ESG platform, for example, the ability to calculate Scope 3 Category 15 for fund managers by pulling data from the portfolio. However, the KEY ESG is always open to having discussions about platform development which we appreciate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Modules, easy to use, easy to add information, much easier than an Excel with locks, easy to navigate, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KEY ESG?

Comments not exportable with the report, can't assign question to people so data owners only see the questions they are responsible for, export questions with answer options for people to provide answers to (e.g. CyberSecurity survey), opt-in vs opt-out of questions - unclear expectations, have an alert if questions were changed, align KeyESG support with expectations on how to handle technical issues - there were inconsistencies on what to do. What do you like best about KEY ESG?

The platform itself is very intuitive. It makes the task of accounting for your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions a lot more doable. I also like the practical support that the Key ESG provide along every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not the most userfriendly tool - yet"

What do you like best about KEY ESG?

I love that you can see the answers from the prev. year and import them into the current year.

I also like how easy it is to set up new account members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is not the best yet, its hard to follow what the open tasks are and I would love a page dedicated to open tasks only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
