The interface is not as polished as some competitors; however, the simplicity is part of the attraction. If it's for taking core notes and for scaling images, it's absolutely perfect. **What problems is Joplin solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to archive my notes, create new notes, and essentially solve the problem of having a robust archive where I can keep all my notes securely for everyday tasks ### 2. The Markdown editor, enhanced with plugins, lets me structure detailed notes with ease—including superscripts, subscripts, and formulas. Attaching large files is also seamless, which is a key need in my workflow. **What do you dislike about Joplin?** The lack of OCR for PDFs is a drawback—since I often handle scanned documents. Not being able to search their contents directly in the app means relying on external tools. **What problems is Joplin solving and how is that benefiting you?** Even so, Joplin offers a secure, private space where I can keep everything organized. Syncing across devices is smooth, and it’s helped me stay on track and save time—especially when working on reports or proposals. It's a solid choice for those who value flexibility and data privacy. ### 3. I also love that the notes are stored in Markdown, which allows for easy ready, because of the preview pane, and it also keeps the size very small for the notes, because it doesn't store a huge bunch of unneccessary junk. I use it every day, and it is very easy to use and integrate into your daily life. **What do you dislike about Joplin?** I haven't used the syncing functionality yet, but I wish the options for Joplin cloud were slightly cheaper, as it doesn't appear to have that many additional features. **What problems is Joplin solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me keep all of my notes consolidated, I love the autosave feature. It keeps me from having to worry about losing anything. ### 4.
