I implemented a generic chart in java jogl based. I worked on that for 6 months and i tested jogl intensively. - very good performance at rendering **What do you dislike about JOGL?** - in some cases when jogl crashes it displays a generic exception in the log and is not useful - build #10 of Windows 10 Professional is breaking jogl and jogl was not able to render anything. Don't know if Microsoft solved the problem in the meantime **What problems is JOGL solving and how is that benefiting you?** I implemented a generic line-chart in java jogl based and i worked 6 months on that. The chart could display multiple functions in the same time, had X, Y axis, had zoom functionality. The chart also become animated when it was full and new points needed to be added to the chart.
