Easy to install, update, dial, & text.  all the functionality is there

With different lines coming to my phone, the caller ID does not function - unless the primary phone is called (I have several businesses, each with a dedicated line)

**What do you like best about Jive?**

Jive is a customisable tool that can be used by any organisation. It can be called a professional social connecting platform. You can create blogs, post, discussions, share a document. Also it allows to create public and private groups restricting the number of people. You can store files , documents with team member, create events etc. 
Also on the status or posts created by you , others can like and comment... hence in a way interact. Supports multiple plug-ins as well.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

It requires manual effort to clean the space or to maintain it. Although with additional efforts, customisations and plug-ins old and irrelevant files can be removed to clear space and storage.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be customised and with the support of plug-in its synced with Microsoft office, zip tools etc. it helped us in posting the final report about testing with the team sharing the details/summary about the status for the sprint.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

This app has changed the way we do remote work. And the way we communicate in the office. I am always on the road or traveling, and I just love it. I work from wherever I am. And I use Jive to keep me connected to my team. It's pretty great.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

If you're using it on the phone, with just your wireless connection and not the internet, it's slow to connect. Sometimes the customer side of things doesn't work like it should.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know we are not using it to its max, but we are mainly using Jive for customer outreach and customer success. And some team communications. Updates, meetings those things.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

We went live on the Jive platform in 2009 and migrated to Khoros last May. Jive provided a lot more customizations and with it being hosted on-prem it was easier for our devs to make changes. Moving to a SaaS product has been an adjustment.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

While we liked being able to customize, it was also a distraction. Many space and group owners did things so differently that users often felt a big disconnect when navigating between them.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jive was great for introducing client and associate collaboration for Cerner. It allowed us to circumvent some support requests by allowing questions to be asked and answered directly in product forums.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

They had a great easy to use interface. Phones came provisioned and setup already, and all we had to do was plug them in and we could use them right away. I am not sure how they are now with them being bought out/merged by another company.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

The cost, like with many cloud VoIP providers, added up very quickly for us. We had to switch to a hosted option which saved us a huge chunk. Other than this, if you're budgeted for it, it's a great option.

We needed phones, cloud-based solution that was easy to use, had high quality voice and had the features we needed. Jive checked all of our boxes and then some.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

The fact that you can use it anywhere: a physical phone (purchasing the right LAN adapter) on an iPad or iPhone, and on the web in your computer. Also it offers constant updates that tend to make it better.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

Sometimes the Admin Panel shows information about the lines that is not updated or tends to create confusion.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

You will need a very stable internet connection and also it is better to use this service over a mobile network internet connection. Sometimes it will ring when you are on an active call so you'll need the help of an admin to fine-tune the settings

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now get in touch with customers using a 'physical' phone number even when doing home-office. It is easy to use and has many features as warm transfer.

It allows coworkers to connect with one another and collaborate on all things business. It offers many different packages to meet all your business needs.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

Lack of development with no major features for years. The customer service team is pretty bad.

Jive helps to connect with the coworkers where employees can interact and collaborate outside emails. It is completely mobile, hence I'm able to use jive while on the move to follow current company news.

Easy interface, MS Office plug-in, which allows easy document sharing and online collaboration.

Limited reporting features for community managers, also mobile app could be more user-friendly.

Implement SSO to make it easily accessible from Intranet. A separate login/password is a blocker for many.

I like the way the interface helps you easily navigate to anything related to your workplace and connect with people very easily. It's also AI driven and hence understands you very well.

Some times the data processing speeds can take a hit and the system gets jammed, although it works just fine most of the time.

It's easier to collaborate with people over jive and have everything for them in one place. It also helps them take a load off the usual hassles one faces when joining a new firm.

I love that this program is cloud based and is a great intranet alternative for chat and video calls. It's great that I can communicate from any device or phone. Jive has amazing video quality and works really well for our teams in accounting.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Jive so far. It has a great user interface and it is easy to use and operate. It has a good signal and quality and my video conferences are never dropped. It works like a charm.

When we started working remote in the accounting department, keeping in touch and communication was hard but Jive has made this better for so many companies.

I would try out Jive and use it for a while to see what you think. I do believe it is a good tool and would you recommend you at least try it out.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

I use the intranet everyday and this is seamless. It makes it easy for myself and my coworkers to find things on this intranet system. It makes my employees happy that they can easily find an answer to something instead of coming to find me. There is endless resources on Jive-n.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

There is nothing I dislike. Sometimes it can be laggy but thats not usually an issue. I have found it runs smoothly 90% of the time and I am completely happy with it. We have used a different intranet service and Jive-n is by far my favorite due to its features and options.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

I would say to use this if you have several employees who need questions answered. Its easy to find resourced on Jive-n. Makes the work day smoother.

Showing my coworkers how to find things easier so they have their questions answered quickly and efficiently. I have realized that with an easier interface my employees can use it with ease and it lessens the stress of the workday.

Foster communication among team members enabling them to step forward in engaging ways. It is a force multiplier

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

Calendar function is extremely limited, would be better to allow multiple layers, themes, colors and labels

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

Get executive support and buy-in. Have it owned by IT, not communications, or marketing. Yes they should be key stakeholders and have a seat at the table for crafting how the product is operated within the enterprise but they should not be the teams that own the solution. It is first and foremost an IT solution, providing social internal collaboration tool to the team. Social collaboration is about engagement and leadership. Marketing could contribute to user experience and testing, however Marketing who is best at external facing messaging, is not the most ideal for an internal facing communication and collaboration platform. Communications would certainly own the centralized corporate news function but again they are delivering a message, using a tool. Splitting ownership between more than one group would also be a disaster because then there is not a single throat to choke if you will, you want a single organization and leadership structure to own the roadmap when it comes to social collaboration within the organization.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

I love that Jive allows you to collaborate with others by either commenting on posts, documents or uploading new documents and reviewing multiple versions of the same document. As a trainer/tech writer, I love that I can post a job aid or manual and my teammates can easily review it and if we decide we liked the 2nd version best - it's super easy to get back to!

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

The search feature needs to be cleaner and better overall. Searching in this software works, but the results may vary if you hit enter after your keyword or not. We should have a better search engine within this software. 

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

Great tool and resource for information and collaboration. The best way to use Jive is to embrace it in multiple aspects of the business from job aids to videos, to Happy Birthday and Happy Work Anniversary messages. Keep it fun but full of solid, reliable information. 

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that we can take emails from outlook and post them to our Jive software, it saves email space and allows people to use Jive as a collection of information and resources. We also take advantage of the project pages and use these and the tasks regularly.

When I started using it I had some difficulties to understand their system, however the customer service is incredible. They taught me how to use the program efficiently and I find it very practical.

Honestly, so far I have not had any complaints, all the doubts have been clarified by the customer service, which for me is very important.

Jive's UI is clean and intuitive - most of our employees were able to start using it with minimal training. There is also a lot of room for customization by administrators.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

We attempted to integrate Jive with Deltek Vision and OpenAsset and encountered some difficulty. Smoother integration would be great.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

We had a consultant assist us with building our intranet. I would highly recommend this.

Jive helps our employees connect with each other and collaborate across the company. Employees are able to learn about the work their colleagues are doing and engage in technical conversations that are preserved for the future.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

Jive provides best user experience in it's category and it was very smooth journey for out team to onboard and that I think was a key factor for us. Making people start using an enterprise app is always challenging and Jive solved our that problem and on top of that they have one of the best moble app :)

I think there should be more options for integration and availability of java stored on jive.
Also I think possibility to have pages where we can manage the tasks based on groups will be good for us.

We created a platform where people can share their ideas  as well as report of their work and can use same data in future. (as we are very divorce workplace where people were working from almost 20 countries)

**What do you like best about Jive?**

I believe that the Jive N service is fine, although, in my opinion, they have not completely fulfilled my expectations regarding the product. The service is fine, but they are very cautious about protecting their contractual income and that made things very complicated for me since I did not feel I had the support of the company based on my needs. In my case, I needed to keep an extension number of a certain number of digits because it was printed on the cards and they did not give me this option.
On the other hand, I sent several emails requesting the cancellation of the service after the free 60-day trial and the response obtained after a lot of waiting (Approximately after a month) was that I should cancel the services I had already used.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

One of my main annoyances with Jive-N was the customer service that I really felt that I did not offer support and help with my doubts and problems. They did not answer my questions or doubts many times and in other cases they took a long time to do it; On the other hand, I was particularly annoyed when they charged me for a service that was supposed to be free and trial, even when I had already made the request to cancel the service well in advance.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

Personally, I do not recommend them. Their customer service leaves much to be desired and the operating system becomes complicated. I did not receive all the help I needed in my testing process and I think that they really have a lot to improve as a company in their dealings with the client.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem with which I currently deal with Jive-N is that they continue to charge me for a service that I canceled in advance and although I have communicated with their technical support team and help the client, I feel that they have not listened to me because they do not respond to my emails.

I like that the feature has quick search engines to locate employees fast and it connects to customers fast when looking for information it can be time consuming and time is everything.

I haven’t experienced any issues that would cause a unhappy opinion so far so good .

Iable to efficiencly find any person or staff and files are easy accessible to us when you don’t have to worry about systems failing or crashing it’s a good feeling to get the job done.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

Our agency is in the process of upgrading to Jive-n. My preliminary experience on suing Jive-in through the community has been wonderful. The new UI layout is much crisper and responsive. I like the added features to Jive rewards and better Analytics

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

We are in the process of testing and validating Jive for our agency. During our system testing, we have found that embedded video are not loading quite consistently. Apart from this, we are still adapting to the new features and would know more soon.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Jive-n we are hoping to have a abetter UI responsiveness, especially since a majority of our users are mobile users. Jive-n also has better analytics, reports and  rewards which will help us keep our community engaged and collaborate across many levels.

collaborative work and also being able to access it anywhere without being tied to a closed intranet

that it doesn't have many updates and sometimes the HTML fails

improve the time in the updates, at this moment they are very slow

The promise that resolves is to have fast communication anywhere (we have branches in Mexico, Central America, and Brazil), and the main benefit is that it is very intuitive, so anyone can use it.

Jive provides the ability to upload documents directly from Microsoft Office documents to an internet source - this helps eliminate the need to do extra steps to complete uploading of information. 

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

Not extremely user friendly. Can be difficult maneuvering the program without basic training on how to use the program. Can be difficult reviewing multiple versions of documents in the event that old versions are replaced with new and confusion can come into play determining which document you need and merging can be a struggle when bringing old and new together. 

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency of education and communication with multiple departments for standardization. Ability to work on one document with multiple individuals having rights to edit the document as well as upload if necessary. The benefit would be that it would eliminate the need for excess emails of documents that require review and editing from multiple individuals. It would eliminate confusion of what document copy is the current version where Jive does it for you.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

I like the social interaction for employees. It is engaging and useful. We use it for our Intranet at work (large hospital system) and I really like that different departments can make their own pages and spaces/groups for interaction.  It also works great for project completion tracking as well!  I enjoy that employees can comment on posts and articles ands share their thoughts and ideas. 

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

I find that our employees feel limited by the constraints of Jive-n. I hear that they would enjoy greater customizability and additional options. This is really the only issue that I have heard.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

It works very well. We love the ease of document sharing! Our team has moved from storing documents on a shared drive to cloud storage which has worked wonderfully.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

From a positive aspect of the product we love the simple and modern interface and the use of groups, that's about where it ends unfortunately.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

Jive used to be great before they were purchased by Aurea. We never had any issues and support was great for any questions about configuration!

Since the acquisition we have had nothing but problems all around. Here's a few:
-We're hosted through Jive and for the past 8 months we've experienced multiple day outages where our employees can't login to Jive. This is critical when we have data on here that our employees rely on.
-We've had all sorts of broken interface issues that go without being fixed for days or even more than a week.
-The new system where you enter a ticket for support takes much longer. 
-There's a disconnect between our account rep and any sort of support. For the constant issues we're having we're basically told "It is what it is..."
-Their maintenance times are terrible. "We're doing planned maintenance at 3 PM (CST) on a Friday afternoon". Why a large company would have a planned downtime during core USA business hours is beyond me. One of these planned down times during business hours also ended up going two days past the time they originally noted.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

In my honest opinion I would look at other products unless you're hosting on premise. I've talked to other software companies with intranet solutions and they all are saying they've seen an astonishingly large number of new clients that are running from Jive after the Aurea acquisition.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Jive interface is much better than our previous SharePoint intranet. Everything is so much more modern and collaboration within departments seems to be better now that employees can communicate and share posts about our data.

What is best about jive is that it offers the ability to insert, edit, and upload documents via the internet to another platform for availability to other individuals. It also provides the capability of adding editors or viewers for specific documents for privacy purposes.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

The program makes it somewhat difficult to manage different versions of a document if multiple users are reviewing and editing. This causes some confusion when maintaining documents.

**What problems is Jive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency is big business problem that is being addressed with this program. It’s been vital in providing various documents across the organization. The benefits realized are the user friendly capabilities without any formal training. The program is quite self explanatory when learning and managing.

**What do you like best about Jive?**

The part I like best is it seems really secure.  This is the most important part when having an application that can also be used on a mobile device in a corporate call center.  The other part that is really good is it's ease of use and does not really require any training for our staff. It also allows us to collaborate easily in our day to day projects in both our sales and technical teams. We have so many projects that we have created in it that it has become an integral part of our organization.

**What do you dislike about Jive?**

The one thing I dislike is that although it easy to use, the mobile app is kind of clunky and features are a little lack luster.  I have found many other apps that are much nicer to use but as security is the most important we have to consider that. Other than that I really don't have a lot negative to say about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Jive:**

My recommendations would be to strongly test out the software on a trial period first as the project collaboration features may not suit what you're looking for. I did find that it was easy to use but somewhat clunky. The web interface however, has a much more of a Facebook kind of feel to it and is great to use.  The other thing you can do is have your Jive-n branded with your companies name/look/feel so that it is very personalized to your organization.

Jive-n helps us to stay in contact in separate groups when we are working on projects.  We deal with both sales and technical support so the projects are quite varied and having a centralized place to go to work on them allows us to be more productive.  Our teams need to constantly collaborate on many projects with creating new sales incentives and technical employee incentives.  With this we can also share things not just in our local office but with leaders in other centers.  We also have an extensive database essentially created within Jive-n for our staff to look up solutions to common and uncommon tech/sales related issues.

We can also create different themes to be best utilized. It is quite a easy and user friendly platform for the beginners.

The product can be made more user friendly with some enhanced features like direct drag and drop. If possible need to use FTL should be removed as this is not a very common language for people to know.

Uploading documents to online platform. It allows the user to produce a document and add additional editors which is a slick way of collaborating between a variety of users. Enjoy the fact that there are settings and functions in place to indicate changes and restrict access to only viewers and provide editing rights to others.

How multi documents can be difficult to manage as it mentions it is an older version but it beneficial to merge that old document with the new version.

We had the platform down many times, in those occasions Aurea had never communicated to us to explain the situation.
