I love that Unity Suite puts the responsibility on both parties to meet their end of an agreement. It keeps expectations in check with automatic "check ins" of content to ensure consistency with our client-approved version. It provides clear "next steps" for the creator to execute, rather than going back and forth via email. These small features are able to create a big difference in saving time in the little details. I dislike the inability to post live links on the marketer's end to collect analytics. The "manual verification" does not pull through numbers and you are not able to undue that verification. The Unity Search functionality can be problematic at times, as can other areas of the platform (e.g., chats continuing to be marked as "unread" when they are not). Also, the system times out and logs the user out -- but it's not obvious when this happens and work can be lost. A "you will be logged out" message would help. The initial Training was great. The support when there is an issue is also outstanding. We love the ability to find influencers and communicate with them directly all in one place. The main stumbling block for us so far has been in connecting with Influencers. The process is not straightforward. In just a small segment, we reached out to about 25 Influencers, most of whom never responded back to us. Others responded back, but the communication back and forth was cumbersome, sometimes going days without a response back. I love that the IZEA team is very helpful when it comes to campaigns and working with influencers. They do their best to protect us as business owners and the influencers in everything they do. The in-platform messaging is not great, often messages disappear or you don't receive notifications about new messages. Some of the features and functionality are not the most intuitive, such as making changes to deliverable due dates or publication dates. We are a successful independent record label, and there's no better way to share good music to new fans than having influencers share that music with their following.
