**What do you like best about iWork?**

UI / UX - less cluttered simply does its job in minimizing distractions. I particularly like Numbers and Keynote being integral in my way of work life as files are seamlessly integrated into 1 workspace / ecosystem across all Apple devices.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

Numbers - coming from a heavy user of Google Spreadsheet and Excel, it does take time to learn the functions, additionally some formulas can be difficult to compose in Numbers.

Presentation output quality can be average when using other office suites, with Apple, decks are crisp in terms of resolution.

All the apps easy to install, i have all i need in one place making deploymebt fast and easy, it also helps not having to do individual installs for each software making it fully functional.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

I believe that there is not much to dislike, everything is here, unless you are someone that does not like bundled software, there is nothing I can say negatively.

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A simple solution for installing bundled software for deployment on a large scale, not having to install one by one makes things so much better, quicker, and easier.

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020

**What do you like best about iWork?**

I use pages for writing scripts for my new movie, is one of the best content in iWork better than Celtx for this type of work.
The ease of use allows me to set the writing sheets exactly as I need them, with side notes regarding the shots and the actions to be performed by the characters.

also, for a copyright issue, you can insert a watermark with your own production company logo.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

Nothing, I am very happy to use the software for both speed and ease of use

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

I am very well at using the software for both speed and ease of use

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of use allows me to set the writing sheets exactly as I need them, with side notes regarding the shots and the actions to be performed by the characters.

also, for a copyright issue, you can insert a watermark with your own production company logo.

  ### 11. Offers The Essentials Of Office Software For Everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

The main thing iWork has going for it is that I can be sure that every machine in our office has a working copy of the iWork software suite. This has been a problem with using Microsoft Office products, with all users not on the same version of the software or not having it at due limited licenses. Using Keynote has been great to generate templates for presentations, being able to bring slides in and out to quickly create a PDF that looks great for clients.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

I do not like how the software is not flexible with the version number. Every OS seems to come with it's own version of the software, which causes some incompatibility when opening documents on older machines in the office that cannot upgrade due to OS limitations

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

It can be a challenge to get people to switch from Microsoft Office, but know that you can always export documents from Pages to Word if necessary. The only other alternative is to use Google Docs if you can manage to get your entire team on the software with G Suite

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWork has solved the problem of making a modular document for presentations that can easily be customized. No longe are we creating things multiple times when we can combine pre-built slides and reorder them as necessary. It was a creative way to use keynote that I did not think about until it was shown to me by a co-worker

  ### 12. Great suite of products to mirror Microsoft Office

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony B. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

The products are intuitive because they are similar to Microsoft Office enough without being the exact same thing. What I like is they are more user-friendly, especially on touch screen

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

They are similar to Microsoft Office products, so it would be nice in future to see them evolve into a different look/style that is all their own. I understand that they are that way to help people convert over (ie not be afraid of a new Excel haha)

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

Works great, don't expect Office (word/excel/ppt) or you will be dissatisfied, you need to relearn some things which can take time but its great to use. Also the preferred option for shared documents or using a touch screen etc vs office

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Use them for general sales and marketing documents in my current job, spreadsheets for a variety of data tasks

  ### 13. I love iWork for iCloud!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

Pages is my favorite app. It's so cool to have a free word processor that you can save as a word document, I also use the "Numbers" app which is a similar program to Exel. So much so that you can save your files as an Exel document, a .pdf, a CSV and "Numbers" document.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

Just little things... sometimes Pages will stall and won't allow me to rename my documents so I have a lot of like.. "Blank page 6" type documents. Other than that, it is such an awesome little suite od apps.

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

This is a great option for those who don't want to buy the Microsoft suite for their mac. I strongly encourage mac users to play around with these free programs and see if you cab save some money by using them in place of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc,

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I stopped paying for a Microsoft equivalent. There is no need with iWork/ iCloud.

  ### 14. The iWork Suite (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) is really good!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob H. | Podcast Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

I've been using iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) for a long time! The functionality and design is unparalleled, especially for the price (included with macOS and iOS devices). I love how easy it is to customize documents and how they automatically sync between my devices.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

iWork IS compatible with MS Office, but you have to specifically export documents as MS word, powerpoint, or excel files. That can be a little cumbersome when working with people in the MS environment.

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations. We have great templates for all of our documents.

  ### 15. Simpler, more aesthetic alternative to Microsoft Office

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

The fonts, the ease of drag and drop features, the built in templates...I could go on. I think the templates are my favorite part, however, as they are far more applicable to the real world than with other software, such as Microsoft office.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

The only thing that can be annoying are format errors that occur when exporting as non-iWork native file types. For example, exporting a pages document might produce some errors on its corresponding word doc when opening on a PC, thus, there is always a second step required to review.

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

It can be tough to make the switch to a different office suite, considering the level of integration required with other software, but it seems most people's biggest hurdle is fear of lack of capability in iWork. This is so far from reality, however. iWork offers so many robust tools that are so simple to use. It makes my life better on a daily basis.

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, in a creative field, the little aesthetic things and user friendliness features go a long way. There is just so much more you can do with iWork to make your documents and presentations look so much more professional and well-done.

  ### 16. Is like office but for Mac and its free and simplex to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesco F. | Director - Art Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

I like that Is already in the Mac and you can open the office file (Word, exel, etc) and the interface Is very simple so all the people in the studio can use the software

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

I don't like of iwork Is that sometime something simple ti think and ti do Is a pain to do in the software because all the Apple software are Easy and simple to use, but when you want to do something more complex, here we go the problems.

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

Is very simple and good as office, so of you have a Mac, why use office?

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of pdfs with Pages and a lot of presentations with keynote and a lot of payment sheets with numbers.

  ### 17. Getting closer to the best suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

While each leaves a little bit of intuitive use to still be desired, each program is quite powerful and works wonderfully, finally, in collaboration and sync between desktop and web versions.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

Often, and seemingly always at the most inopportune times (ie while in flight) keynote will require an update in order to permit local /desktop editing, which is infuriating and stops productivity dead (as most web collaboration doesnt work well with inflight wifi). This happens, a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering iWork:**

Make sure everyone is fully in the OS X ecosystem, not using PCs.

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration, absolutely. Knowing that changes are saved reliably, finally, while multiple team members work on documents from different locations has made this a critical tool suite for us.

  ### 18. Almost perfect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio L. | Manager IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about iWork?**

First, it’s free. Then it has almost everything you need from an office suite. And keynote presentations are a breeze to edit.

**What do you dislike about iWork?**

Spreadsheets are limited comparing to Excel

**What problems is iWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working on the same document with multiple users and multiple devices saved us a ton of time

  ### 19. Why I use it
