"User-Friendly with Responsive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

I find Iterable helps with building campaigns and making journeys quicker. I like that it's very easy to get a hold of CMS agents and that the code is easy to use. The different colors and HTML code are great because they help me find things, locate specific issues, and update the code easily. I appreciate having a CMS on hand where I can chat with them through Slack and get a hold of them quickly. The initial setup of Iterable was very easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

Updates will be pushed through with the UI interface and won’t let us know so sometimes it’s hard when we will go back into the platform and it looks completely different or operates differently and have been updated about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile CRM Tool with Room for A/B Testing Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

I used Iterable in my previous role for almost 5 years, managing the whole CRM program, and I used it daily to create and analyze campaigns, as well as segmentation and A/B testing. It's a great tool that allowed me to manage 19 markets in a single template, and I loved using handlebars to create dynamic content. I really valued the easy UI, which made working with it a breeze. The segmentation feature was incredibly valuable, and I appreciated the AI helper when it comes to coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

The A/B testing feature could be improved. It seems like Braze is much more advanced. It would be beneficial if they invest in the ability to mix and match different components so the tool could create the most engaging version for users. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy, particularly when checking if the data was correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered, User-Friendly Journeys That Accelerate Our Marketing Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

It has been amazing as we grow out our customer marketing program. With all the embedded ai components, we have been able to build and iterate on journeys at a pace unavailable to us before. It’s very user friendly and continues to provide updates that really show how focused the tool is on staying on top of marketing trends, and growing with the times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

Previously, the main issue for us was not being able to delete fields. However, we’ve already gotten a sneak peek at what’s coming next, and it looks like a major improvement for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Journey Creation, But Needs Simpler Batch Campaigns"
4/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

I like that Iterable is constantly updating their features, and I appreciate that we have premium support. Every time we run into issues, they are very quick to get us the response I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

I saw there should be an easier way just to send out a batch campaign, like, a one time, where you don't actually need to create a journey to do that. Right now, we do need to, you know, create a journey, do a lot of filtering. But a lot of other ESPs I use, you can just, you know, create a campaign and define the target audience, define the time, and that's it. You don't need to actually go through all the journey creations to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love iterates support chat!!"
5/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

Your support team on chat is unmatched! I have worked with sales force for over 8 years, Eloqua for 6 and a variety of others for a few years each. None have anything close to how knowledgeable your team is. I can’t express enough how bad the support was with salesforce even with paying for their top tear support, millions a year waisted. What do you dislike about Iterable?

Wish there was PDF hosting, in the image hosting tool.

Please please add some type of folder structure to snippets. It’s hard to organize and even search for snippets to go now. They are just all thrown in together and unless you. Have all the names memorized it can be time consuming to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Email Management with Quick Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

I really appreciate that Iterable allows us to send a high volume of emails efficiently. It also lets us rapidly experiment with sending emails at the right time for users, which used to require complex bespoke systems. The setup helped us quickly test different features, making our workflow more streamlined. I also like that Iterable can integrate with our custom software through webhooks for data retrieval and metrics reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

There have been certain limitations, like only one email getting sent per eighteen hours for journeys, but we have been able to work with our Iterable support team to find ways around limitations like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall, a very useful product which covers all the necessities of CRM"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

Iterable makes it very easy to track campaign and experiment performance, with many ways to easily access information on both, either by going through the campaign section itself or by going into the reporting sections.

It is very easy to pull lists of users quickly, based on a list of requirements and this has also made it easy to define segments/lists for our campaigns.

Iterable as a company always seems to offer fast and helpful solutions when our business runs into problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

Iterable only seeming to hold most recent dates when it comes to events like subscribe dates and list subscribe dates can make reviewing an entire customers lifecycle difficult.

Unique Opens appears to have different definitions based on if you are looking at the time series reporting vs the dashboarding, due to the introduction of date into the former. There probably needs to be a different unique definition for where one is day/campaign specific and one is campaign specific. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Deja Darrington of Iterable

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Iterable. We understand the importance of accurate date tracking and unique opens definitions, and we will work to enhance these features for a better user experience.

"Great for automation and journeys, with room to improve analytics"
4/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

Iterable is flexible, fast, and easy to work with. The segmentation options are strong, experiments are simple to set up, and the overall UI is user friendly and makes it easy to work with. Journeys are intuitive, and the platform scales well even with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

When copy pasting flows it doesn't always save the settings so when you have a lot of them it can get error prone. Also customer support ist not always super helpful, though, repsonsive and quickly to reply. Analytics could be better across campaigns and audience segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Deja Darrington of Iterable

It's great to hear that Iterable is helping you streamline your customer messaging and CRM work. We're focused on providing a platform that simplifies marketing tasks and enables efficient targeting and consistent messaging across channels.

"A powerful platform with an intuitive UI"
5/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

We had a really positive onboarding experience. The Iterable team took the time to understand our company's specific needs and how we could accomplish our goals with their tools. They created extensive documentation around our use cases with clear goals.

Since we've started using the platform it's been easy to activate on our user data and introduce other members of our team to the tools. Our CSM works closely with us on new initiatives and takes our concerns seriously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

Iterable needs to update its NHI filtering to include activity monitoring. They are missing a native connector to LinkedIn ads that would be super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very good for our use case, needs improvement in conversion tracking."
4/5
What do you like best about Iterable?

Honestly, Iterable is just easy to use. The interface is intuitive, never overwhelming, and allows me to accomplish tasks without having to dig through endless menus. What stands out most for me is the visual journey builder-it enables me to design customer flows with branches, delays, and varied messages in a way that's both clear and genuinely enjoyable. If I need to adjust something or try out a new idea, I can do it quickly without it becoming a major undertaking.

Segmentation is another feature I really appreciate. I’m able to create detailed audiences based on behaviors and attributes, then launch targeted campaigns without always needing help from developers. This lets us move faster, personalize more effectively, and avoid sending generic messages to everyone.

I also value having everything centralized. With email, push, in-app, and SMS all managed within the same journey, it’s much easier to keep messaging consistent and avoid accidentally spamming people from different platforms. Overall, the integrations and personalization options feel reliable, making the whole experience smooth once everything is set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iterable?

My main frustration lies with conversion tracking. When it functions properly, it’s great, but too often it doesn’t feel reliable enough to trust completely. This becomes a real issue when I need to demonstrate impact or optimize campaigns. At times, the reported numbers seem inconsistent with those from other tools, and it can be difficult to understand exactly why certain actions are being attributed the way they are.

This uncertainty makes it challenging to optimize with confidence, since I can never be entirely sure whether performance has genuinely changed or if the tracking is simply acting up. I would really appreciate more consistent tracking, clearer documentation explaining how attribution works, and improved options for adjusting it to better align with how we measure conversions internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Deja Darrington of Iterable

Your review highlights how much value teams get from fast iteration, thoughtful segmentation, and truly visual journey building. It’s great to hear that centralizing channels has helped keep messaging consistent and intentional. We also hear your concerns around conversion tracking reliability and attribution clarity, especially when measuring real impact. That feedback is important context as we continue improving analytics.
