For years, the platform helped us keep our systems stable while cutting down on manual work. It's a game changer! What really stood out to me was how flexible and innovative the platform is, especially with the continuous improvements and new features being rolled out. Also, since IT-Conductor is cloud-based, we didn't have to invest in extra infrastructure, which would've been necessary with other monitoring tools. That’s been a huge cost savings for us, especially since we’ve been using the platform for several years now. Lastly, one of the many things I liked best about IT-Conductor is how efficiently it handles change management. This is crucial for SAP Basis administrators. IT-Conductor takes care of the heavy lifting through automation, allowing us to focus more on high-value initiatives. **What do you dislike about IT-Conductor?** None. It just takes a bit of time to get used to, especially if your team is new to automation tools. It actively retrieves a set of instructions for carrying out monitoring & automation of our Azure workloads. It also follows brilliant RBAC which dedicates access to objects based on their class, operation type and object values. This offers extensive granular control over all the available functionalities while performing operations in our Azure regions. **What do you dislike about IT-Conductor?** Since IT-Conductor uses proxy and does not access our monitored system directly, we need to ensure that we stop the gateway so that it will block their access completely. These monitored systems are configured using IT-Conductor agent and so there is no direct user login approach. This can get tedious & complex at times as we work with multiple Tenants to govern our project requirements. **What problems is IT-Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** All our multi-tenant data structures are safely stored in a relational database management system offered by IT-Conductor. To enhance the security further, we define our application security layer to access customer data. It follows sequential tree schematics for our hierarchical data which is easy to navigate, perform comparisons and comprehend our performance metrics in the Azure platform. Drilldown is convenient with this approach and it can effectively monitor the availability of all user-defines services along with infrastructure components that supports our Azure Tenants. ### 3. We needed to monitor over 200 systems quickly and did not want to spend weeks to get up and running. In this platform, we relied on built in features for system discovery, health checks, alerting, and recovery and just needed to spend time on configuration. This is a cakewalk compared to SAP's Solution Manager. **What do you dislike about IT-Conductor?** Nothing, this greatly helped us cut down on time. **What problems is IT-Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are migrating systems and needed to monitor performance of the source and target system. Because there was so many systems we did not want to install an agent on each machine and did not find many tools that could do it. When you have to go through so many SIDs, install, and configure each agent it takes awhile and you need a dedicated team to manage it. I think most teams are turning to automation these days to be efficient with resources. ### 5. Coverage is in depth and works with most SAP ecosystems our team supports, including NetWeaver, ABAP, JAVA, PI/PO, BusinessObjects, MS SQL Server, DB2 UDB, HANA, ASE, and SAP MaxDB. A few templates were included which made getting set up fairly easy. We have been using their service for our clients and it has saved them a lot of time in managing day to day activities. It also enable our team members to be more productive and perform other functions since IT-Conductor does not require any dedicated resource to maintain and monitor. Most require installing and configuring on each system and a dedicated team to manage the tool, and is specialized towards a particular landscape. IT-Conductor has reduced our reliance on dedicated teams and saves time with setup, which can be lengthy. I like that the tool is highly flexible in the functionality and can adapt to work with different technologies . **What do you dislike about IT-Conductor?** It could use a dark theme, there is only a white background at the moment. **What problems is IT-Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We no longer need a dedicated team to perform particular monitoring tasks. ### 8. Every company has their own way of performing refreshes, and IT Conductor has managed to tick all the boxes needed that's specific to a customer. Identifying redundant tasks and automating them has been key to reducing the time and effort spent to finish a system refresh.
