Iolta Trusts Reviews & Product Details

IOLTA Trusts is trust accounting software built by a licensed CPA to manage client funds and track compliance requirements for law firms. The software features three-way reconciliation, which aligns bank statements, book balances, and per-client ledgers as required by state bar rules. It tracks deposits, disbursements, check numbers, and real-time balances per client. An immutable audit trail maintains complete transaction records. The system prevents negative balances and flags period-locked entries to maintain data integrity. IOLTA Trusts integrates with Plaid for automatic bank feeds, QuickBooks Online for double-entry posting, and Clio for syncing cases and contacts. The software generates audit reports, reconciliations, client ledgers, and compliance guides. Team access controls allow customized permissions, so staff members see only relevant data while administrators maintain full oversight. Designed for solo attorneys and small to mid-size law firms.
