Slow sync, no option to select specific folders for backing up (either all 10TB or nothing). Trying to back-up my 1 TB of data, and this clearly last for ~four days, if it is not interrupted in the meantime.

Some files are missing if you try to use the cloud drive, some files disappeared during testing, so not trustworthy at all..

Backup jobs sometimes say they are 190% complete.

Every release of the Windows client is becoming worse in terms of usability, but they add nonsense like that anti-virus feature that nobody asked for.

The UI on Windows and Android is terrible in terms of usability or features.

Even when no backup job is running, CPU usage is around 25-29%, and nothing is synced in the cloud drive.

The drive can sync either everything or nothing with the mobile phone. The web client will not allow you to selectively upload folders/files either, without those file being synced back to the cloud drive (on desktop+mobile).

Support normally answers after one week, with no solution at all.

Stay away from scammers such as this one. Any other cloud service is more useful than Internxt.

Internxt's approach is dishonest and fundamentally flawed. They frequently alter their plans and blatantly disregard existing agreements. My experiences with them have been extremely disappointing. As an early adopter who invested a significant amount in a lifetime deal, I now find my plan downgraded to a "free plan," despite still having the same storage capacity. This is completely unacceptable.

I specifically purchased lifetime access to the Team plan with the promise of “all future plan updates.” It’s clear that most reputable SaaS providers recognize this commitment means ensuring early adopters are preserved in new features or at least maintained at comparable paid tiers. I was very skeptical at first, but I can say that I love the product. Its very easy to use, the customer support is great and they keep adding new features and improvements. What stands out the most for me about Internxt is its strong focus on privacy and security. Internxt uses end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge technology, which means that only the user can access their data, and not even Internxt can access it. SYNC - IT does not work at basics

I have been a client for 2TB lifetime since April 10 2021. I am now (June 1, 2022) in release 1.9.0 (latest for 2022.06.01).

So far, I am using 540GB. The tech problems in the beginning were many and were resolved very slowly, but at least support and CTO were close to resolving them. I was amazed to see that they did a special call with me for a fix that helped solve some of the early bugs.

However, as time passes by, support has become slow and does not offer real solutions, coming to a halt. Support is not responding at all now.

There are two issues/bugs that cannot be resolved by support from May 8, 2022 till June 1, 2022 at the moment:

A) VERY PROBLEMATIC:

There is a strange phenomenon happening with sync on windows 10 pc.

Delete Case 1:

- I deleted a file locally

- After syncing, the file is brought from cloud locally

Resulting Problem: I cannot delete files

Delete Case 2:

- I deleted a file via web interface

- After syncing, the file is brought from local file to cloud

Resulting Problem: I cannot delete files

Rename Case 1:

- I rename a file locally

- After syncing, the file is brought from cloud locally as it was before renaming and local file is loaded as new file on cloud.

Resulting Problem: I end up having duplicate files with original name and renamed name locally and on cloud.

Rename Case 2:

- I rename a file via web interface

- After syncing, the file is brought from cloud locally as it is renamed and local file is loaded as it was before renaming on cloud.

Resulting Problem: I end up having duplicate files with original name and renamed name locally and on cloud.

The whole sync mechanism seems that it misbehaves!!!

B) No link for files larger than 1GB

Internxt has a file share link option with some very likable attribute. You can share a link for only a number of downloads. This feature is superb. BUT, it does not work on files larger than 1GB. I have such a large storage for big files but I can only share files with less than 1GB. That is not something that I was looking for. This is anticipated for many months and support has not resolved this either.

I hope that support becomes once again what used to be in the beginning, supportive. For the time being it simply neglects the clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A truly 'Privacy' respecting platform. Simple interface and easy to manage the files/folders. Zero-knowledge military-grade encryption is another plus for this platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Collaboration features need to be improved; they are working on that, as per the recent communication with their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If it worked (and there's evidence that it does not), the encrypted distributed "shard" based scheme would be extremely cool. However, I have not been able to get it to perform a backup and the largest file I've been able to copy is about 10MB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So let me just say it: Internxt does not appear to work. They had a lifetime deal on Appsumo and a bunch of people apparently bought in to the 10TB storage deal, but I have not been able to successfully complete a backup and the "drive" itself excludes larger files. So even though you bought space, you can't actually use that space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that a) my files are encrypted right away, and that the company can't actually access the files. Dropbox & Drive still scan the files and flag any potentially copyrighted content - the issue is that I often use content for documentary or sizzle reel purposes, not commercial, so I know that Internxt won't delete my files since they don't scan the content.

And b) Internxt stores the files shards in 8 different locations - so if one, two or even 4 distributed servers go down, my content is still safe as it's decentralized privately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Internxt is still a fairly new company, so speeds are a bit slow and it would be nice to have selective sync (they say should be release within the month). Would also like migration from Google Drive, and also the ability to play files without having to download - but they're working on this too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
