"Such a nice product to secure your data"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Storage FlashSystem product is really nice to use daily, nice interface, advanced functionalities, easy to use and manage.

Easy to intergrate with IBM power system (mainly IBM i OS).

For most customers, nothing to care about, the solution is just working with proactive IBM support.

For advanced custumer, just use advanced functionnalities.

For intergrator, just easy to integrate in an existant infrastructure and migrate data from old stroage to the new one.

I am using FlashSystem on a daily basis and would not be able to be that efficient without these systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Performances can be a concern when migrating from internal storage so we may need advanced tools to ensure performance wont be a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No hassles, No worries, No nonsense. It just works."
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Whether you select the smaller Flashsystems or the larger Flashsystems, the core of it is mostly the same. Performance, stability, ease of implementation, easy to navigate GUI and with an extensive command line for automation and integration. Add a top-notch support from your local and global IBM partners, and we have a solid solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I am trying hard to find dislikes about our current and even our past Storage Flashsystems and I honestly cannot think of one that comes to mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration, Stellar Support"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I appreciate the fully integrated support with PowerVC, making it an ideal fit for our cloud environment. The ease of management and the great user interface simplify operations significantly. The APIs and CLI enhance our automation tasks, streamlining processes efficiently. I also value its availability and the easy learning curve, making it straightforward to set up and use. What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I would change the way the call home function works. Specifically, I would prefer it to transition from the admin interface to the backup interfaces step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Personal thoughts about ibm storage flash system"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

First and foremost if I have to say something which I like the most of this product is that about its data reduction capabilities which not only saves the cost of company for storage but also it maximises the efficiency of data which directly/indirectly affects company's agility.

Second things would be its fight against some cyber attacks like ransomware as it shows huge potential against those threats which prevents company's data with the help of some features like ibm cyber vault and it helps in quick recovery too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Although there seems to be more benefits of using this but as per my knowledge and experience,it might requires a huge initial burden of investment,be it setup or bringing new technologies as an add on initially. But in general looking about its great effectiveness for the company further,it would be good to invest some ample amount initial which can be managed with its usefulness later.

Also, there are some cases seen regarding some issue related to ineffective support which needs to be taken care. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Working with IBM Flashsystem"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I love how simple the GUI is. It is really a smooth transition when we do help our clients learn the GUI and how to work with it. It has a very user friendly GUI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Some of the parts of the GUI that we are usually acustomed for (like all the "features" in the dashboard present), we had a challengenge trying to find them in the new update of the flashsystem. We also had a recent issue with a client looking for the secondary management port, but I think in the newer versions of the FS, the secondary management ports are just an add on and not part of the basic config. "Great support on technical topics and increasing usability"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I like to be able to dig into the nuts and bolts of things, and with the recent enhancements of Volume Group Snapshots, and other usability improvements, being able to easily do tasks is much improved.

Security focus with TPI, two factor authentication, and FCM4 threat detection is excellent.

Our technical support through tough issues and design aspects has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Volume Group Snapshots still has some performance fixes that are needed.

The fact that we lost CMON support without any guidance on how to fix discovery with ServiceNow was a big disappointment.

Having dark mode would be great.

Would be nice to pick a previous snapshot for replication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flash storage - fast and reliable"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I loveved using the CLI access over SSH for some automation I was working on. The documentaion on everything can be done via CLI was very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

Might be the version I was using but I didn't like the way snapshots/flashcopy were warking. The whole deal with setting up a relationship and starting it was very confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Solid Performance & Reliability"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

What I like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem is its ease of use and ease of implementation—it was surprisingly straightforward to get going. The number of features is impressive, and I especially appreciate its ease of integration with our existing systems. We frequently use it, and whenever we've needed it, customer support has been really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

The one thing I'd change is that setting it up was a bit tricky. Not super intuitive right out of the box Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High-Speed Storage with Reliable Performance"
What do you like best about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

I really like the speed and reliability of IBM FlashSystem. It handles large data workloads smoothly and delivers great performance even under pressure. The interface is user-friendly, and real-time monitoring through IBM Storage Insights makes it easy to track system health and performance. It’s also flexible and scales easily when our storage needs grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Storage FlashSystem?

here isn’t much to dislike, but if I had to mention something, the initial setup process can be a little challenging for first-time users. With a bit more simplified documentation, it could be even more user-friendly. Also, the pricing might be a consideration for smaller teams or organizations.
