Whatever you wanted to do using tool is Self explanatory. We can initiate scans or download reports. Very good security testing tool for Dast. I'm moderately technical but not a software developer. I love that I can get this set up and monitor vulnerabilities in a matter of minutes. **What do you dislike about InsightAppSec (AppSpider)?** I've had a couple of issues with the authentication for the scans and knowing how to configure them in the BEST way to get the most coverage. I want more guidance on that. **What problems is InsightAppSec (AppSpider) solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a vulnerability scanning tool for GDPR compliance. This solution alleviates some of the risk of unknowingly introducing vulnerabilities between penetration tests. ### 5. Very good console design. I like the dashboards for reporting purposes. R7 provided cloud scan engine to scan internet facing webapps. **What do you dislike about InsightAppSec (AppSpider)?** We have seen many false positives. The scanner doesnt mark vulnerabilities as remediated automatically if found remediated. Other thing I dont like is it also reports on vulnerability tests that are not vulnerable and safe. **What problems is InsightAppSec (AppSpider) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps secure webapps by finding vulns dynamically. usually other tools like SAST and IAST cant solve these problems. ### 6. my experiance with InsightAppSec **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** yoganathan a. | Lecture , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2019 **What do you like best about InsightAppSec (AppSpider)?** this interface is pretty good so any new user can easy understand the application features with out others help. also it is updating data to data so it can cover all the type of the attacks. also it's scan report format is pretty good thus any one can understand about the vulnerability by referring the scan report. **What do you dislike about InsightAppSec (AppSpider)?** it takes more time to run a scan on a target. it should be improved. **Recommendations to others considering InsightAppSec (AppSpider):** if you want to test security issues on your web application frequently it is a great product. **What problems is InsightAppSec (AppSpider) solving and how is that benefiting you?** previously we went through each and every webpage to test security issues and we must check each and every attack type on a website even it low impact attack. now don't do that. it help to reduce our Manuel testing time. ### 7. It effectively manages the security assessment of your application portfolio, regardless of size, checks all traffic and all programs that scan the code every second for vulnerabilities, errors and security breaches. It's a web application scanner, whose algorithms can control even the most complex applications. You can start scanning in as little as 5 minutes! The dynamic, modern user interface makes InsightAppSec easy to deploy, manage, and run. **What do you dislike about InsightAppSec (AppSpider)?** I would mainly say that I would like to receive more detailed instructions on how to use the program, if you are new this will not be very easy. Of rest I would say that since this tool has to do with security, it meets all the criteria of the security scanner. **Recommendations to others considering InsightAppSec (AppSpider):** This application should be recommended to all entrepreneurs concerned about network security. Some features of the application should be learned so that they are used correctly, which will help maximize the effort and minimize unexpected costs. As a recommendation I would say that it would be better to be committed to the client and the support services would be executed on the same platform, it would facilitate access to these functions and it would speed up the work in general. **What problems is InsightAppSec (AppSpider) solving and how is that benefiting you?** The overall quality of this product is good.
