Other word processors have to add a Zen mode to allow authors to focus on writing. The interface of INK is already tidy and does without gimmicks. However, INK's secret weapon is AI-supported content creation. You simply write down your thoughts in bullet points and trigger CMD+ENTER the AI process. The first impression is often, "I should have let INK write this essay for me. It would have been better." **What do you dislike about INK?** Just as impressive as the AI results are, it can also be annoying to prescribe so much text for the AI to draw lots in the first place. Unfortunately, INK doesn't complete its AI-written sentences, forcing sentences to end with your own words. INK as a text processing program has minor weaknesses, such as in INK formatted texts copied via COPY+C and pasted via COPY+V is unformatted. Other minimal text processors can do this better. Plugins can be installed; only finding some is (still) difficult since INK is not yet so widespread. **Recommendations to others considering INK:** I can recommend INK for those who want to dedicate themselves to AI copywriting and those who want to do without AI. INK is a highly recommended word processor with image search, spell and grammar check, and all in a quasi-permanent zen mode. **What problems is INK solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use INK to write blog posts and like to rely on the word processor as well as the spelling and grammar checker. Especially the latter helps me to save time so I can concentrate on the content. The AI functions are nice, surprising but for special topics like in computer science now and then unfortunately useless. Nevertheless, the text snippets that INK generates are valuable. On the one hand, because of the choice of words, and on the other hand, because of the intentionally short text snippets, creativity is encouraged through inspiration and gap text. I also find the image search helpful, because it allows me to find and use high-quality free images. ### 6. This results in a minimal amount of communication/miscommunication with consistent results. The feedback I have gotten from my clients is that they enjoy using INK. Having global settings related to the featured image and how the meta title and descriptions are handled would be helpful for web developers that build custom websites that utilize another SEO plugin. For most people that want to get started blogging on a WordPress website with INK, this most likely is a non-issue. **What problems is INK solving and how is that benefiting you?** As previously mentioned, the streamlining of communications with clients has been really helpful. Many of the clients I work with are not as tech-savvy and would rather have us log in and manage the site for them. Not having to nag them to provide meta title, description, and ALT text has been really nice too! From the perspective of the web agency, reducing the need for clients to log in means less chance they will screw up the site. INK is mighty helpful to me, especially with its SEO & Readibility feature. I get to put in the keywords that I am aiming for, see the density, and make changes accordingly — which INK crawls the web and do everything on its own, saving me the manual hassle. Its readability feature points out which senteces are long, hard to read, use passive verbs (which is a sin to use while writing!). The INK Score is a particular thing that stands out to me — as it shows the multiple criteria on which it has scored my writing, and also gives tips on how to improve it! INK's PRO Feature — showing the "relevance" of the topic is soemthign I haven't seen anywhere else. It crawls the web, scans various different websites and shows all the sources and how accurate/relevant it is. The platform allows me to easily share content with the team for feedback and edits. The fact that my content ranks vs the actual SERP top results means that I have a target to aim for that matters. The WP plugin is also brilliant, allowing easy upload and download of posts in WordPress for easy updates and review. Finally, the INK team customer support is responsive, considered and spot on. If there is something they can't deal with they're very clear on a workaround. And, as things are added and dealt with from the backlog they communicate the outcomes. **What do you dislike about INK?** Two niggles need to be resolved, but both have a simple workaround. 1) The Spelling and Grammer engine, while much improved, still doesn't catch everything.
