It has robust batch processing capabilities, capable of processing policy lifecycle steps in huge numbers. Compared to competitors, the interface for both admin and policy processing is very user-friendly. Also, it provided strong integration capabilities to interface with other applications. **What do you dislike about Ingenium?** Country or region-specific features are missing. Also, there is a distinct lack of support for providing updates for regulatory revisions to insurance products. The versions that I was working with were on Cobol, and it was increasingly difficult to recruit people for the same. **Recommendations to others considering Ingenium:** Check for support and country-specific features availability prior to choosing Ingenium for policy administration **What problems is Ingenium solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ingenium was used to manage the entire life insurance policy cycle, begining from product set-up, policy sales, underwriting, servicing to final claim settlements. ### 2. I must say that it's a robust tool in the sense that vast amount of policy information and transactions can be accessed very easily.
