## Infura Reviews
  ### 1. A fast and reliable RPC provider for EVM blockchains

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nong Khanh A. | Blockchain developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Infura?**

What I like best about Infura is its simplicity and reliability. And a great free plan.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

Infura does not support non-EVM blockchains.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Infura provides RPC services and useful APIs for dApp development at a low cost

  ### 2. Infura: reducing Reliable API Infrastructure Ethereum Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Latha A. | Operations Manager / Fullstack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Infura?**

Its user-friendly integration process called Infura. To make it simple for developers connect their applications to blockchain networks, Infura delivers thorough API documentation. Developers would quickly appreciate and make use of the features and functions offered by the blockchain networks thanks to the clear and well-documented APIs.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

If Infura has several advantages, there are a few limits that some users wouldn't appreciate. One characteristic that some developers could find harmful is the fact that Infura depends on a third-party server. There is some reliance on Infura's infrastructure and dependability because of its function as an intermediary between users and the blockchain network. This lack of direct control over the infrastructure may worry some users.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Infura gives developers a convenient and trustworthy way to access and interact with blockchain networks by addressing the issue of setting up and maintaining a personal blockchain node. By using Infura, developers are relieved from the difficulties and expenses associated with managing and synchronising their own nodes, allowing them to work more on building their applications. By permitting developers to instantly access and utilise blockchain data and functionality using Infura's API, this benefit decreases the entry barrier for them and saves them both cash and time as well as hastening their development process.

  ### 3. Build on Web3, bring ideas to life

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosana S. | Redactor de contenidos web, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Infura?**

I feel this is a one-of-a-kind program that lets you bring ideas to life. Is a new era of machine learning experience with Blockchain. I feel like I went ahead a few years in the future.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

There's no customer support in the free version which is understandable but usually, you need more help at the beginning of using any type of program, especially Infura.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel I can get closer to the Blockchain needs, there's a whole world of possibilities with Infura and definitely is helping me achieve my goals of building a community of cryptocurrency lovers who can gather together for things in common to say an example of things you can do here.

  ### 4. Usability and technical review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Palak D. | UI/UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Infura?**

It allows me to cut money using pooled resources while maintaining performance and security. It also includes ways to interact with smart contracts, send transactions, query blockchain data, and handle events, making the development process easier for me.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

I occasionally suffer glitches in user experience and limited access to blockchain-based services due to technical difficulties or service disruptions. In addition, I don't have much control over the node's activities, and it doesn't offer the same amount of flexibility and customization as running a local node.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is economical because I can avoid the costs of setting up and maintaining a node while still reaping the advantages of blockchain technology. I can also access and engage with apps and services created on many blockchain networks, broadening my options and allowing me to participate in a variety of decentralised ecosystems.

  ### 5. Simplifying Blockchain Development for Students.

As a student, I appreciate how easily I could integrate my applications with the Ethereum blockchain using Infura.io

The user-friendly interface and documentation made the process seamless.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

The infrastructure of Infura is centralized, which made me slightly uncomfortable as a student exploring the potential of decentralized systems.

That's it. I got no more dislikes about Infura.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many students face challenges in setting up and maintaining their own blockchain infrastructure, which can be time-consuming.

Infura offers Blockchain Infrastructure as a solution. With Infura.io, students can easily connect their applications to the Ethereum network without a complex infrastructure setup.

  ### 14. Infura: makes your life easier until it doesn't

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Infura?**

Infura makes it easy to connect to the Ethereum blockchain without needing to run a local Ethereum node. It's easy to get set up and import into your workflow. Ease of use is a main highlight.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

Infura sometimes goes down unexpectedly. It's also very centralized as you are relying on a centralized JSON RPC endpoint as a service and if Infura encounters a problem and you are relying on it to connect your Dapp to the Ethereum Network, your Dapp will also go down. So 1) its reliability of it and 2) its centralization of it. Pocket is an interesting alternative to Infura that is more decentralized, however. I haven't used it and therefore can''t comment on whether its as reliable or easy to use as Infura.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy connection to the Ethereum blockchain without needing to run a local Ethereum node which can be a) a pain to setup and maintain and b) leave you prone to getting hacked.

  ### 15. It was good and easy to use infura as a service for blockchain nodes.

Easy to use and good documentation of infura.

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

Only eth nodes were available. I hope if few other blockchain nodes were available it would be good to have.

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't need to host blockchain nodes.

  ### 16. Infura easy remote nodes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Infura?**

Infura makes it easy to spin up reliable remote nodes. They also have reasonably priced premium plans with free tier that is just enough for a developer to quickstart

**What do you dislike about Infura?**

Infura is still centralized in the way it operates their remote nodes. When infura becomes decentralised, it will be even more amazing for Devs and users alike

**What problems is Infura solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Indira makes it really easy to spin up nodes, for almost all major networks. It solves the problems and issues related with running and maintaining a node
