I find running analyses in this program very straightforward. **What do you dislike about IMPLAN?** While it allows for very detailed breakdowns by industry and geography, I worry that the specificity is not justified given the data. I imagine error is high. I wish it better showed how reliable the data is when drilling down to such a granular level. **What problems is IMPLAN solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us understand the impacts of various industries. ### 4. Inability to disaggregate industries within a single sector to make industry-specific analysis. **Recommendations to others considering IMPLAN:** A very good modeling platform for generating useful results quickly and efficiently. Might have to find other modeling methods if you want to do advanced regional modeling with price elasticities and input substitutions. **What problems is IMPLAN solving and how is that benefiting you?** The regional economic contribution of agricultural and forest products in Northcentral FL. As an economics arm of an accounting firm, we are constantly reviewing economic impact studies and the IMPLAN analysis allows us to easily navigate between different levels of impact and tax revenues. **What do you dislike about IMPLAN?** I would prefer if the product for the previous year had a more accountable timeline. Often we find ourselves in a situation where we try our best to promise delivery dates, but often change due to the uncertainty around the release of the most up to date year. This causes lags in our pipeline often. **Recommendations to others considering IMPLAN:** One consideration that I would have is that I would love to be able to more easily export into excel. There are certain feature that I feel would be beneficial to those who are exporting these data points into their own models. It would be a simple feature add to an already all around great product. If you find yourself in a situation where you feel as though you had a competing product that more fluidly did this, I would consider this a definite plus over IMPLAN. **What problems is IMPLAN solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving economic impact studies throughout different states and understand the tax impact within these states, as well with the IMPLAN product.
