It automates drone-based image capture, organizes ground and aerial photos, provides measurements, and aids data analysis with AI and deep learning tools simple enough for anyone to use. ## IMGING Reviews ### 1. PV Design without IMGing is a world I don't want to live in!! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Taylor B. | Director of Design & Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2023 **What do you like best about IMGING?** IMGing makes my life as a director of design and engineering in the solar industry easier. Period. There are so many things I can think off on the top. 1. This replaces google drive for site survey photos as well as company cam due to it's organization and clarity in quality 2. Within seconds can scan the whole house for outside appliances to make load calculations easier (Does the house have an AC? Gas? Pool pump? Generator? ATS?) Rather than scanning through multiple pictures that the site tech took, we in design, can with the click of a button and drag of the mouse look at a 3D image of the whole house to easily identify these items. 3. Point to point measurement? What?! Now, instead of the site tech having to take a tap measure and measure every piece of equipment to the other, we can look click a reference point anywhere on the property that was scanned and see what the measurement is. This is super helpful in needing to know how far the gas riser is from the main service panel, how far an empty space is for ESS clearances, and more!! 4. Ground mounts (don't have to scan the whole property just the house and around it) is super useful because can detect where the septic is located and other utilities such as well, propane, etc. 5. Cuts down on design time in whole 6. I would keep going, but you catch my drift haha. **What do you dislike about IMGING?** The DXF creation has improved immensly, but I still am not a huuuge fan here. The whole house flattened (new feature), is great, but still kind of sloppy. The 2nd thing that's super annoying is that their app is only for iOS. We have a surveyor that has an android phone and he can't use IMGing because of it. **What problems is IMGING solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. Right now we are having a huge issue with missing obstructions at the design stage and then when we go out to install, they have to change the layout on site. IMGing solves this issue because, well it's a done and now we can easily see the obstructions. (Now the obstructions are the actual shape of the obstruction instead of a weird trapazoid :)). 2. The amount of time it takes to do a design. 3. Load calculation accuracy. 4. Service fed loaction accuracy. ### 2. It makes scheduling jobs easy, pulling your data quick and understandable, and the scheduling aspect of it it very straightforward and very easy to learn. **What do you dislike about IMGING?** Just like any other program or product, it has its imperfections but nothing that I dislike. The IMGING team is quick to resolve issues and make sure their customers are heard. **What problems is IMGING solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solar drone scans. This keeps it safer for our surveyors as they do not have to climb up on roofs and risk falling. It's measuring technology is so extremely accurate that we can trust it 100%. ### 3. It's so intuitive, easy, and safe. This app stands out from other drone flying apps because of its unique data capture flight plans and what it can do with that data. After scanning, I am blown away by the 3D models that are produced. It is always spot on when it comes to measurements. No more climbing on roofs for me. Detecting damage is also a really cool feature. It is very useful after a hailstorm when thousands of hailstones have hit the roof. The computer does all the work for me, and I just have to confirm what I see. **What do you dislike about IMGING?** The auto flights and pilot override need improvements. During a horizon photo set, the drone comes down near a tree. The drone stops, initiates pilot override, and I just keep coming straight down. Restarting the scan causes it to shoot straight up, then try again. The thing gets stuck in an endless loop. **What problems is IMGING solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to get on roofs and having accurate measurements. ### 4. Getting approvals for flights is easy with IMGING! **What do you dislike about IMGING?** Sometimes it has glitches without explanation, such as NFZs when I can fly in DJI. In addition, during horizon photos it sometimes makes you start all over because it can't move on and has an error. **What problems is IMGING solving and how is that benefiting you?** IMGING is great for getting measurements of a roof for a solar site survey. I can 100% rely on this and only need to get on a roof as needed now, so it makes my work environment very safe. ### 5.
