Imedicare has wonderful photo imaging quality. It allows for different types of users to be in the same chart to review information at the same time. It also integrates with other software that is useful in an medical office setting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sightview Ophthalmology?

This EHR platform provides for all areas of our practice. Meaning, we do not have to use various EHR platforms for our different departments across our 11 offices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sightview Ophthalmology?

I hear that this used to be a good platform. I have been an admin of the system for about 10 months and I do not like the platform. It is very outdated. All of our staff hates it and says it is slow. We have frequent issues that we have to contact support about...but you usually do not get a response back from support. The inside technical support reps have personally told me they are overloaded and cannot support the amount of tickets being opened. I have literally opened tickets and NEVER get a call back. Or, it is weeks before someone reaches out. If you wait long enough on the phone to actually speak with someone, they just open a ticket and tell you someone will call you back....but they cannot tell you when. Support is horrible. What do you like best about Sightview Ophthalmology?

What do you dislike about Sightview Ophthalmology?

Everything about the system, the company, etc. has issues. We had our "Go Live" which was a disaster, the system kept failing and they blamed it on our internet. After months after going live we find out our billing was not set up on their end correctly causing claims not to be sent out and charges not to post. The PM system is absolutely horrible. We are unable to run reports of any kind because there is a "system glitch" that needs to be sent to "developmental". We have been on the system since July 2019, almost a year, I still have tickets in with developmental that are almost a year old and told sorry they are working on it. If you need any type of technical support you have to sit on hold for hours and that is if they do not kick it voicemail. When making templates there is a "glitch" where the template will be created but some how it adds more appointments and less appointments on certain days. Again, another thing they set up for developmental to look at. If you change templates and patients are already scheduled it will cancel the patients appointment and place them on a reschedule list. If you want to update a template like add a slot or take away a slot you cant do this without creating an entire new template and the above happens again. The system constantly crashes causing us to move to paper. The reports do not work either, another thing developmental is "working on". All reports can export to a CSV but the data is wrong and they placed subtotals between phys and operators so you cannot manipulate or use for pivot tables graphs etc. In billing, it will say the patients either paid when they did not or it will say they didn't pay when they did even though the payment is posted. (another "glitch")

All and all I would say to RUNNN!!! We have tried again and again as it is extremely expensive to switch companies to get them to fix all their "glitches" and nothing is ever done! Communication and customer service is horrible. Each time you call there is also a new employee because the last one was terminated. I have had 4 sales reps in 2 years and god only knows how many cust serv reps try to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
