Ignite UI is a UI component library for teams building data-heavy web apps in Angular, React, Web Components, Blazor, and ASP.NET MVC. It gives those teams one set of grids, charts, and UI controls, with shared theming, instead of a different component library per framework. The library includes 100+ UI components: - Data grids built for large datasets, with sorting, filtering, grouping, paging, inline editing, and row and column virtualization. The grid family includes a standard Grid, Tree Grid, Hierarchical Grid, and Pivot Grid, plus Excel-style filtering and export to Excel, CSV, and PDF. - Charts for dashboards and analytics, including category, financial, and real-time charts. - Layout, data entry, calendar, and scheduling controls, including a Dock Manager for multi-pane layouts. - Components built to meet enterprise accessibility requirements. Teams can start with Ignite UI Grid Lite, a free data grid under the MIT license, and move to the full suite when they need advanced filtering, grouping, editing, or the Tree, Hierarchical, and Pivot Grids. The full suite is a per-developer annual subscription with a free trial. The Ignite UI CLI includes an MCP server, so AI coding assistants can scaffold projects and add Ignite UI components.
