## Ignite UI Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable UI Components with a Strong Open Source Direction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radka A. | Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

You get a comprehensive set of UI components that are well-built, consistent, and reliable for real-world applications. The one thing I like the most is the performance of data heavy components like data grids and charts. You rarely get that in other component libraries or at least not on the same level. I really like the new set of open source components for Angular and React. They’re ideal for smaller projects and applications, allowing teams to build without adding extra licensing costs

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Some advanced components require a bit more configuration to unlock their full potential but that’s generally the trade-off for the level of flexibility and performance they provide.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ignite UI solves the problem of choosing between lightweight open source libraries and enterprise-grade UI components. With the new open source offering, teams can start with free and production-ready components and still rely on strong performance and long-term maintenance

  ### 2. Flexible Multi-Framework Support That Accelerates Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

Ignite UI stands out for its strong support across frameworks like Angular, React, Blazor, and Web Components, giving development teams the flexibility to work within their preferred tech stack. It helps accelerate development while still delivering a polished, professional user experience. Recently, the addition of open-source components and initiatives around AI-assisted development shows they are moving in a very positive direction.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Some of the advanced components may require additional effort for customization, and navigating the full set of capabilities can take time before teams become fully productive.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a comprehensive set of ready-to-use UI components that speed up development and ensure consistency across our applications. The introduction of open-source components is also a big plus, making it more accessible for smaller apps and use cases without adding extra licensing costs.

  ### 3. Powerful, Flexible Grid for Data-Heavy Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard W. | Web Developer, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

We’ve been using Ignite UI for Angular for close to five years, primarily for the grid and its advanced features. The grid is powerful, flexible, and well suited for data-heavy scenarios. I also appreciate the recent move to release more components as open source, which makes the library more accessible, transparent, and easier to adopt across teams and projects.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

There are also occasional breaking changes between major releases, which require extra effort when upgrading. That said, these are generally expected trade-offs for a powerful, feature-rich component library.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its powerful grid and data visualization components handle performance, scalability, and advanced features out of the box, which significantly reduces development time.

  ### 4. Including low-code App Builder for rapid app development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gracia C. | Purchase Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

The App Builder integration is phenomenal. it lets me visually design dashboards, screens, data-rich apps in an instant with Ignite UI components. This has drastically cut down on my development time.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Regarding App Builder, it is limited to Angular, Blazor, Web Components and React. But as an Angular developer, it does the job.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to prototype and iterate UI designs quickly for client demos with feature-rich components that could be easily reused. The App Builder + Ignite UI workflow allowed us to go from concept to functional prototype in hours really.

  ### 5. One of the most robust angular data grids on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex A. | Project Manager, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

We were using another UI component library in the past and were quite happy with it. Came across Ignite UI when we needed a powerful data grid for one of our projects. Ignite UI was the best solution for virtualization, paging, and column-level operations.

Their support is also top notch. We've had a number of requests since we started and they have all been dealt with or resolved super fast.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Advanced features in the grid require time to get used to and might be scary at the beginning.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rendering large data grids usually causes lags and crashes in some of the known open source grids, but that has never happened with the IG grid. That is probably the main advantage they have.

  ### 6. Great UI components and fast performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario M. | Procurement analyst, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Ignite UI?**

The framework support is excellent. I can use the same high-performance data grids and charts in Angular, React, Web Components, Blazor or any other popular framework. There are all the features I needed – from basic to advanced. I particularly liked the fast Angular data grid.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Initial setup documentation could be more comprehensive, especially when integrating multiple frameworks in one project.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ignite UI handles large datasets without lag thanks to optimized virtualization and lazy loading. Thanks to this responsiveness our admin dashboard became snappier and more reliable in production.

  ### 7. Grid power and design win

The grid is very powerful: fast rendering, excellent filtering, sorting, grouping, and looks clean out of the box. Myteam really appreciates how feature-rich it is.

**What do you dislike about Ignite UI?**

Everything seems to be working to our advantage now. We need to continue exploring it.

**What problems is Ignite UI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us build enterprise-grade UIs with data grids quickly, handling large datasets and complex operations (filtering, grouping, editing) without reinventing the wheel. That speeds up development and gives users reliable performance.

I am very impressed with the code quality of the Angular product and the App Builder platform. I see that the well-established processes and robust web knowledge of the team provide a complete solution to all Web Frameworks and UI Design tools.
