I like that the app offers an instant online translation service between frequent language pairs. I have started to use the English-Spanish and English-French pairs for my daily translation work. The results are good compared to similar online translation services, offering a more than acceptable level of quality. The verb conjugation feature is my favorite option from this app. One of the most attractive aspects of IdiomaX is the possibility of integrating Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. IdiomaX also offers multilingual business and economic dictionaries as well as a legal dictionary that offers the opportunity to improve communication with different departments with which I work when including this type of terminology. What doesn't appeal to me about this app is that it offers many of its services on a prepaid basis. Numerous products can be purchased to enhance the work of a professional translator. For freelance translators like me, however, the options for using this app are limited to the free tools tab. These are the same free online translation options found on many other sites, such as Google Translate. For me, a drawback to note is that IdiomaX is very close to basic or standard Spanish and may be less useful in US language contact areas where Spanish and English are mixed or merged. I have been using this app for several months for various translation jobs, and although it can work offline, on Android it constantly crashes and takes several seconds to get back up and running. The best thing about the software is that it helps to translate into different languages like, English, French, Spanish and Italian. The most distinct feature that makes this app stand apart is that it not only helps translate words, or phrases but translates emails, websites as well as texts from different MS Office programs. The only thing that keeps me bugged is the delayed user interface, which sometimes takes up much time to translate if dealt with a big file with a large amount of data or information. When the world works on a project in Europe but want to have the execution team in Asia, the main obstacle will be the communication and the language barrier. Relying on Google translate has lead to lot of misinterpretation of the information provided. This is where IdiomaX plays a vital role with its various products. Well, the only drawback I found in this was that it translates documents of only a few limited languages like documents in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. So if we get documents other than these languages this tool will not serve the required purpose. Hence focus has to be added to inculcate more languages to the list as this shall be really helpful in understanding the documents in different languages better.
