From our experience with the product, a historic reliance on Java has been a problem for us due to way our environment is setup, but this is by no means a fault of the product. Pentana/Ideagen Risk Management is helping us consolidate all of the organisations risk into one central system, allowing for automated workflows which reduces the risk of human error. Performance indicators can easily be created in the PI module and users can easily enter information for these. PIs can both be assigned to individual users or groups of users. That Ideagen PI module is web based. Traffic light system is used to show status of PIs so easy for non users of Ideagen to read and interpret reports created from Ideagen. With the move towards platforms like PowerBi and the ability to easily navigate through information at a click of a button I am disappointed at the lack of APIs that would allow the systems to speak with one another. I appreciate that they are building a new platform that will hopefully address this but can not comment on this as I have yet to see the preformance module which is relevant to my role. A more modern, accessible and interactive way to present information to those in the organisation without an account would be welcomed. Ideagen Risk Action module within Pentana is being used to support our Policy management and allows officers to easily review and update policies, meeting statutory requirements. Ideagen offers the organisation a platorm which allows the organisation the ability to clearly demonstrate how it is delivering priorities and monitor its performance against said priorities, again meeting statutory requirements. The main issue my organisation was experiencing was struggling to identify emerging risks in real time. This meant our responses were really delayed and risks were increased a lot. However Ideagen Risk Management has very useful automation and analytics features that allow us to track and identify risks in real time. Some parts of the system do not make sense i.e. action manager doesn't automtically link to the report, so sometime it can be confusing or difficult to remember how to access the correct part you need (i.e. to close down an action). Personalised portals Ease of accessing "your" risks and actions Ease of generating reports Ability to completely personalise reports Ability to set triggers for email reminders Easy to use (once you've managed the initial orientation process) Straight forward integration with our single sign on and therefore easy to access from our intranet homepage Responsive service when I've had queries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ideagen Risk Management? There are aspects missing that I would like to have on the system (such as a section for gaps in controls) The headings are not always intuitive Unable to move risks to sit under a parent risk if incorrectly entered by user Allows the same risk code to be used more than once Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Ideagen Risk Management solving and how is that benefiting you? Improved oversight of controls and outstanding actions - actions clearly allocated to individuals and with a due date.
