I really like the simplicity of the Icecream Screen Recorder interface. Everything is clear from the first time, like how to start it. I also love the recording quality, and the fact that the result doesn't take up much space and can be immediately uploaded to the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be possible to increase the disk volume, it is 10 gigabytes. Sometimes you hit this limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
there is no advantage, I bought the license, but the license did not work, when I formatted the computer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are liars, I bought the license, but the license did not work, when I formatted the computer, the tech support not only did not help, did not restore, but also offered to buy a new one, I lost my money, and also the opportunity to use the program; I had bought a "Perpetual license" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its easy-to-use interface and annotation tools very help full, and its different capture modes and task option make things easier while recording screen for content like tutorials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The webcam capture option not providing an option to use a circle frame or "no frame "mode and adjusting the camera size is a bit difficult to handle, suggest improving the camera capture feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Icecream Screen Recorder is excellent and easy-to-use Screen Recorder. I recorded most of my YouTube Video using this screen recorder and it give me very clean and proper results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It overlays on the free version which is spread all over the screen. The Icecream Screen Recorder Team should work on this and make overlay smaller so that we can share our videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Icecream Screen Recorder is a fantastic tool that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy way to capture any sort of screen activity. I love how easy it is to use and the fact that you can record both video and audio at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Icecream software's CPU usage can be excessive at times. It freezes sometimes. Seamless performance is dependent on C drive having adequate storage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can quickly record keystrokes and my voice for a training video. Ice cream is quick to learn and easy to use. And the price is reasonable too. I like that the videos save to the same folder, so it's easy to locate them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were a way to change the color or shape of the pointer outliner. The editing is a bit limited, I wish you could do a bit more than just trim. It is nice that the software gives a default name to files. It would be nice to have a way to create that default yourself. Have an add on that allows you to open a screenshot or video in a different application. It would be nice if there was a way to edit the audio of a video. Sometimes it's too soft and we have to go to another software to edit. Add a way to edit screenshots, in case we want to blur something, or crop it, or remove something from the screenshot. We usually bring these screenshots in to another software for editing. There are times I forget to rename the video to something that describes the video, so it's easier to find. This section is harder to fill out. This software is great, and could be even better with some additions. It's been stable, so I can't even write about its stability. All that being said, there's more to like than dislike about Icecream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used some paid and some free screen recorder as Free Cam, KeepVid pro, Camtasia, Filmora Scrn, and OBS, I paid for KeepVid pro & Filmora, and for others, I use trial or a license from a friend. However, based on my experience Icecream Screen Recorder is good enough. You'll have all general features available to other recorders including annotating, webcam, webinars, etc. Like for Camtasia, you need to pay much but you will get top class editing as well. For OBS (new version) I have set up issue with my pc (Windows 7 without an external graphics card) I liked the annotating feature most and editing so far good enough. Not much to dislike, All recorders are close in terms of different features that they have included but it depends on you what features you need with your recorder. I am a user of the free version and what I got has nothing to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the user interface of icecream, which is light and easy to use, human-readable text which is easy to understand. The feature I like the most is that the recorder is on, and you can record your presentation with your cam recorder on, which gives you the personalized touch to share all the features of the product with the prospecting clients. Plus, it was helpful for me in my college days when I used to teach and earn something for bread and butter. I used to record videos and send them to the students so that they could do the revision. It is expensive when it comes to commercial use and has a limit of 30 minutes if you are using it for free. This hampers the work and requires recording in parts and then using the editor to merge the parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The screenshot feature is the best because it allows me to take screenshots offline without going online, and most of my blog pictures came by way of screenshots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The video audio recording feature is poor; it makes harsh noises and cannot record or stream high-quality PC games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
