"Effective API and integration testing with minimal maintenance overhead"

What do you like best about HyperTest?

This tool removes the need to manually create and manage API and integration test cases. By using a record and replay method, it captures actual application behavior, which enhances traceability across different services. This makes it much simpler to pinpoint the root cause of any failures. The customer support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and they actively help troubleshoot setup and integration issues rather than giving generic responses. What do you dislike about HyperTest?

For advanced customization and debugging, a deeper understanding of how HyperTest handles traffic internally is sometimes necessary. Additionally, the documentation could be more comprehensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HyperTest solving and how is that benefiting you?

HyperTest effectively tackles the common problems of slow, fragile, and high-maintenance integration testing. By automating not only the creation but also the ongoing maintenance of tests, it significantly reduces the engineering effort required to write mocks and keep tests up to date as APIs evolve. This has led to increased confidence in our releases, earlier detection of integration issues within the CI pipeline, and a noticeable decrease in regression bugs reaching production. "Hypertest Makes API Testing Fast and Convenient"

What do you like best about HyperTest?

Using Hypertest from Postman was truly a game changer for me. I found it incredibly helpful that it automatically generates API tests and validates both the schema and the data. What do you dislike about HyperTest?

It took me a little while to figure things out at first, but once I got the hang of it, the software was easy to use.
