Although the Hypersync coverage is limited, I can leverage existing workflows to drop proof into Google Drive which I can then sync with the control or associated label. The great thing about the freshness feature is that I can set a recurring review of the control or label to ensure that it is still operating as expected. This is a much better alternative than waiting for an auditor to discover a control deficiency. **What do you dislike about Hyperproof?** There is still great opportunity to increase the number of out of the box hypersyncs that we could leverage for our security program and having the ability to run control tests with custom csv files. **What problems is Hyperproof solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hyperproof is solving several problems for us. (1) We need the ability to not only use security standard frameworks, e.g. SOC 2, but we also need the ability to create custom programs that we can tailor to other parts of Healthcare compliance. They are always willing to jump in and help answer our questions about the product, train us on features, listen to our feedback and requests, etc. As far as the product itself, having the ability to build repeating tasks into a "calendar of compliance" has been so helpful. The way I manage an ISMS is to take a 365 day audit cycle and break down the requisite tasks by frequency, then put them onto a calendar. I used to have to track all of this in a CSV and then upload it into a ticketing system once per sprint. Now I set it all up in Hyperproof as repeating tasks and they are scheduled automagically. Such a time saver! **What do you dislike about Hyperproof?** It took us some trial and error to figure out how to get out auditors the right amount of access. At first we gave them the Auditor user role, but quickly realized that did not allow them to see everything we wanted them to right away. **What problems is Hyperproof solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used Hyperproof to implement our ISMS and obtain our initial certification for ISO 27001:2022. The "Teams" functionality enables us to track variations in implementing controls for different products in our portfolio, while aligning the various with the same master control of the associated framework. If we normalize the implementation of a control in the future, we can easily remove the variation and fold that product into the master control's evidence. The ability to "Jumpstart" a new compliance framework from existing frameworks, linking the control evidence between the two programs, has been an enormous time saver for us. Love this feature! Lastly, the live guided help feature is great. Makes work for Compliance quite easy **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Ajan K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2023 **What do you like best about Hyperproof?** It would depend on how well the execution is done from the Customer's end; as an Auditor/Assessor, I would need to be able to access the right information from the Auditees in an easy manner. The REQ approach to sift through the hundreds of documents makes it quite easy for us to find what we need; additionally, the workstreams decided by the Customers showcases that we can go through multiple workstreams and not have our work delayed by constantly requesting for documents, proofs etc. **What do you dislike about Hyperproof?** There's very little to dislike over here; the execution of Hyperproof is done quite efficiently. One improvement that I would like to see is in 'Proof'; while going through all the directories/workstreams is helpful, an option to sift through only one workstream at a time would be helpful. **What problems is Hyperproof solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my specific use case, it's helping me manage regulatory compliance and frameworks. In the past, we've used other ticketing platforms such as Jira to manage this, but that just results in a lot of notifications/alerts and stops getting useful after a certain point. In Hyperproof, with the right execution, it helps the right people to be proactive in the goals or mission and vision of the program. **Official Response from Bryan Nakata:** > Hi Ajan, wow! Where we found other UIs clunky or inefficient, Hyperproof's was aesthetically pleasing and incredibly easy to navigate. Additionally, Hyperproof's existing integrations complimented our existing tech stack the most amongst their competitors. **What do you dislike about Hyperproof?** Although I would say that nothing is lacking about Hyperproof's solution, there are times in which the tool feels a bit buggy when in use (e.g., lagging, failure to update fields with drop-down selection). I don't experience these issues often, but it can be slightly frustrating when it does occur. **What problems is Hyperproof solving and how is that benefiting you?** We brought Hyperproof in earlier this year after deciding that our organization could benefit from the tool late last year. Since the start of this year, we have been able to centralize our security compliance and risk management functions within a single tool.
