HUMAN is highly effective at detecting, stopping, and slowing down bad bots while allowing legitimate marketing crawlers and human users through. The platform is simple to implement, easy to manage and monitor. Customization rules allow for thorough whitelisting, blacklisting, and tuning. We have observed a very low false positive rate, but when false positives do occur, CAPTCHAs generated by HUMAN do not cause much user annoyance compared to many of the other CAPTCHAs you see. Support and vendor relations have been wonderful, and they are improving the platform regularly and responsive to customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Having an external bot mitigation solution creates a more complex ingress chain for the site, as compared to having native functionality at the CDN layer like many CDN vendors are offering nowadays.
