Hubdoc is an electronic storage system for your financial records .  it also utilizes OCR so it will read information in the documents

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

I almost never write reviews on software, though I audition many different ones for businesses. I've been using Hubdoc for a couple years now, and makes life so much easier. It is very accurate, and automatically exports to quickbooks, as well as renames, and sends a copy to google drive (which is exactly what I was doing before I ran into Hubdoc).

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

The auto connect feature (to various vendors), I don't feel works as well, but that's okay with me. I only use a couple, and sometimes the connection is broken. I've mostly stopped using it. If I had a lot of online vendors that could connect to Hubdoc, I might think differently. But this doesn't affect much for me.

**What problems is Hubdoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to send all my client receipts to Hubdoc, either via email (super useful), or just drag and drop.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

How easy it is to export receipts to QBO! All of the receipts are stored online instead of in my hard drive, clients have easy access to uploading receipts, and it even lets you forward receipts from email.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

Several receipts on one page can't be split up. It could be easier to search for items. It won't let you send deposit slips to QBO.

Go for it, it's easy and affordable, especially if you only have a few clients.

Better bookkeeping with reference material. I love having receipts attached to everything in QBO!

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

Hubdoc combines the best of both worlds - archiving and integrating of documents. As an accounting services provider, I rely heavily on Hubdoc to allow for the archiving of source documents for transactions as well as link them to the entries I make in the accounting records of my clients.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

The one drawback to Hubdoc is in its mobile app and the ability to see the actual documents that are stored. I have confirmation that the document is there, but cannot see the image. It is the image, many times, that I require in order to raise a question about a bill or an account in general.

**What problems is Hubdoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hubdoc has inevitably helped in solving the problem with permanent document storage.  Also, I do not have to separately attach each document in the accounting software for Xero or Quickbooks. I can do the work within Hubdoc, then run a report to verify that all has been recorded correctly.  The benefits do not stop with simple archiving - an audit trail is easily visible and documents can be pulled directly from Hubdoc or the accounting system.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

With Hubdoc you live organized life, your invoices or email accounts will no longer be disorganized, just by uploading your documents to the platform you will enjoy an automated organization.

It is cheap what comes in handy for small businesses.

Organize your emails in a very good way, and you will not lose more in the inbox, you will see organization and customization to your liking in Hubdoc.

Time is money, and therefore Hubdoc saves a lot of time in having to do it manually, goodbye to paper and manual transcriptions.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

What I like most about Hubdoc is that it is a very sophisticated software where it could read invoices data like the date and amount and easily ready for processing directly into your specified accounting software. It is very organized as well and offers flexibility where you can just take a photo of the invoice wherever you are and just upload it directly to Hubdoc.

What I dislike about Hubdoc is that it does not read the tax amount estated in the invoice.

Where I  need to be specific for the voice, I can just put a tag on that specific bill and can directly find when I need to look for it. I think it's really handy and easy to use.

I love the way in which Hubdoc has improved my way of working, it helps me with all the codes and information that I must extract from documents, I can audit, organize and send directly to an email what I want, making my work schedule easier by finishing All in time, I like its interface and the ease of use, it is effective and super fast, simply one of the best applications that I use in my work.

This application is a success when working and organizing documents, it may be somewhat expensive, however, I think it is worth it, since working with it is great, as long as there is a good internet connection, this application is totally effective.

This application is 100% recommended, it seems to me that Hubdoc is a reliable application when making and sending documents is about or extracting codes in a simpler way, also easily scan any document, if you want to save more time and be faster in your Working time; It's time to use Hubdoc, you won't regret it at all.

Hubdoc is brilliantly useful in the area for which I use the most significant and motivating functions as the organization of my documents in a safe and reliable manner:
It makes the search for my documents easier, it improves and reduces the search time and organization of them.
It keeps me updated in the management of documents and financial information such as: invoices, delivery notes, checks, asset invoices, fixed income, among others.
It offers an excellent way to make adjustments, to maintain a preset order of my documents such as receiving notifications of pending information.
It is innovative and practical for him to send documents through basic or essential email to the clients of the organization located from different places.
It is perfect for taking photos of documents through iOS or Android devices from anywhere with the option to locate them by default and immediately to my account.
It provides confidence and veracity for the use of excellent OCR technology in the recognition of characters, objects, images of scanned documents, compatible and editable from your mobile or computer.

I would like the application to improve and work on the following aspects: when using it for the management and storage of reliable information of the organization I have to be aware of having a backup of it because there is the possibility of deleting certain document or my account , although there is the option to download the information and save it on my PC, also the possibility of controlling the access of other unauthorized users to limit changes or modifications in the database and not being able to know who made the modifications or changes.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

I can say that Hubdoc is a large capacity software and I like many things about it, for example when I connect my accounts, Hubdoc automatically retrieves my recurring bills and statements and adds them to my secure cloud account, so I can stop pursue invoices and extracts that may be missing. From another point I really like that Hubdoc uses OCR (optical character recognition) technology to analyze my receipts (and other scanned documents) for usable data, when I load my receipts, that data is immediately converted into digital files, ready for to export. Now my accountant can access all my accounting, directly from Hubdoc with ease, I simply grant my accountant access to my account and an email invitation is sent to him, it is fascinating, simple and without a doubt simplifies my life.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

This software, as I have explained above, is very good, but since everyone has its ups and downs, one of its shortcomings is that this financial tool requires a very stable Internet connectivity to perform many processes in less time, therefore, when the Internet connectivity is low or somewhat slow, it is difficult to access the software and execute the processes that you want to do. I would also like to have more user permissions, audit tracking and a control panel with a more aesthetic and user-friendly interface.

This tool is my favorite in terms of organizing my documents, but that's not all, it has endless options, its automated system so far has not failed me, I upload and organize everything as I want it.

I like it in the cloud for cross-platform issues, it saves you a lot of time and headaches. It helps to organize everything from my invoices to receipts easily.

It has a very friendly interface which makes it very easy to handle Hubdoc, it is one of the things I recommend, you can create categories so that what you upload is added wherever you want, it is very practical and simple to handle.

At the moment not much, customer service is very responsible, so if a problem arises they will be there. It is expensive but worth what you pay.

What I like best is that it has different options as to how you're going to push through your receipts and invoices. This is perfect when you are tracking your expenses and want to know where your business is currently at. It also very easy to use and helps you to be more proactive with accounting.

Maybe it needs to have a button where you can choose different bank accounts if you wished to pay these invoices off directly to your accounting software.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

Remarkably better than any other business document management program for me, I use it to extract information from invoices and save data by categories of our clients in the company where I work now (although I had previously used it in other companies) and thus maintain a Better order with this everything is more practical and everything from my Android mobile, also compatible with IOS.

Very good data collection: We can recover data from our clients such as their telephone bills, bank statements and so on, so we do not need to contact customers.

Very easy to use, it has a very intuitive interface.

Excellent text recognition.

Very economical for so much that it gives.

Hubdoc is an application that keeps me motivated for the following reasons:
Improve work procedures such as taking the photo to a mobilization guide or office, using the mobile application to not use paper.
It is beneficial to scan, upload and subtract documents that I normally use order notes and invoices
It is perfect for the remission of; order notes, purchase orders, invoices, dispatch guides, debit notes, credit among others by email.
It makes it easier to publish my documents online digitally to categorize and spontaneously identify them

I am generally pleased to use hubdoc as a work tool that is essential and effective for the organization and control of documents in the sales or marketing area of the organization in which I work. However, I would like to make adjustments or accommodations in aspects such as duplication of the contact record is annoying and disorganizes the original list.

I like Hubdoc since it is an application with excellent operation, within its tools I love the ease of scanning and loading documents that can be sent automatically to an email address in a secure way. This software guarantees integration with various cloud storage services which makes it better and more recommended.

Hubdoc as well as having many fascinating functions also have weaknesses based primarily on their price and the offers of their plans should be cheaper. This tool is very good but in view of seeking to achieve results in less time you need excellent navigation and that could affect your full development in its functionalities.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

I love the check images, bills and statements. It's easy to attach in Xero. Just having that makes it better for financial statement audits, client interaction, and internal firm research. It saves from having to scan and attach. Instead it's a paperless workflow, which is faster and improvement on accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

The accountant version seems cumbersome to navigate in and they don't have enough integrations. So, it does save time, but would be better with improved navigation and more vendors to pull images from needs to improved. 

**Recommendations to others considering Hubdoc:**

If you're planning on using Hubdoc, I recommend going through a trial with them, testing some of the most critical places you need invoices or statements and asking questions. It's a good product, but you want to have enough usage or it will be more arduous than worth in our experience.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

The truth is that I like this software in many aspects, it has very good functions. Once you scan and upload documents, invoices, receipts, etc. The platform identifies and organizes everything for me. In addition, it is not necessary to download and upload documents to appear, there is an email address where the documents are sent automatically. All this creates excellent payment reminders and payment automation is much more reliable! When I connect my accounts, Hubdoc automatically retrieves my recurring bills and statements and adds them to my secure cloud account. Finally I have stopped chasing bills and lost extracts.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

Sincerely I would like you to have more user permissions, audit tracking and a user-friendly control panel, I also wish there was a time stamp on the documents when they arrive. I also wish you can see how it was loaded (for example, an application username, the email address from which it was sent, etc.). This data can be critical and I had to remove Hubdoc from certain clients because it lacked these key features. However, all this is difficult to reproach because I love this software and everything it offers, it is simply great to use it.

I can recommend Hubdoc for infinite reasons, such as that from now on my accountant can access all my accounting, directly from Hubdoc. I can simply grant you access to my account and an invitation will be sent to you by email.

Since implementing Hubdoc in the company everything has been made better and much easier, this software generates great benefits thanks to the fact that Hubdoc uses OCR (optical character recognition) technology to analyze my receipts (and other scanned documents) in search of data Usable When I proceed to load my receipts, they are converted into digital files, ready for export.

I feel very satisfied with this software since it has helped me to recover documents, their incleible work downloading documents and intaling it in their software quickly and easily saved me a lot of time.

I dislike Hubdoc a bit because of the design since it makes me a little complicated when it comes to work, I would like to have options to customize it.

Hubdoc is easy for ordening your documents. You can pay bills automatically with this program and that saves money. You never need to rent a accountant manager when you use this program. I like it very much. Such a good program! Unfortunately I'm not user Hubdoc because commision agrees with it at all. We've had a very nice trial.

There's a couple of institutions that have difficulty retrieving documents from, delaying productivity on occasion. I'd like to see these improved so the experience is more streamlined, if possible.

Try out their certification on the website, it helps you learn how to use it as well as gives you something to show your clients!

I am solving the problem of requesting financial documents from my clients and receiving them very late- or even not at all! This is saves me time from asking again and again for documents that I need to do my job, so I can spend more of that time actually getting stuff done!

Hubdoc is a one of popular document management application. It can digitalize documents and analyzed. Hubdoc is the best safe way to store all client's documentations. It contain amazing features.

No any very big issues. But I had a problem with reading certain fonts and also inability to tag my bank accounts.

The integration with our accounting system Xero and Bill.com.  I also like the customer service and our trainer that is available whenever we have questions.  

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

When adding access for a client, they have the same access to documents as we (the accounting firm) has. It would be nice to give the client download only or view only access.

We find that there are some smaller banks and vendors that HubDoc does not currently have a relationship with thus we have to log into those accounts individually in order to pull statements for our clients.

The simple way to upload receipts for the accounting department through the mobile app and taking photographs or through emailing as attachments. Accounting representatives do the rest.

Learning how to set categories for receipts to automatically be captured into. It is important to make sure that the relevant folders are created.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

Once you scan and upload documents, bills, invoices, etc for the first time, system recognizes and organizes everything for you. Also you do not need to download and upload for documents to appear, there is an email address where documents are sent. All of these create great payments reminders and automation of payments so much easier! No more missed payments. Also it is really nice to be able to organize files in one account.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

It is difficult to understand at first, however once you start to navigate the system it becomes easier to understand. Having multiple users for one account may disorganize the account, however it is something that can be fixed by the administrator and the users. It really is about communication, uniformity, and all being in the same page. 

**Recommendations to others considering Hubdoc:**

It is great system that helps keep payments on time, track invoices, checks, etc. Customer support has great availability. 

**What problems is Hubdoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first, users shared account users need to receive an invitation to Hubdoc in order to create the account. As a user I did not initially received that invitation and created my own. Later when realizing I was not on the company's account, I had to create another account, now with the invitation. This was not a big deal, and my view point is that the issue has been resolved since the solution was simple. I basically have two accounts, it would be better to only have one though, to not have a second one floating around, but it doesn't impede me from working.

**What do you like best about Hubdoc?**

For capturing receipts and even integration with QBO...it is great! I own a bookkeeping company and it is works very well for obtaining information from my clients to assign transactions. The tag feature is another helpful tool for my clients to let me know how to assign their expenses.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

I work with small to medium churches and only one has a bank that Hubdocs will "fetch" bank statements for AND despite repeated contacts with their support...Hubdoc only fetches ONE of their 3 bank statements...which was the main reason I pay the high monthly fee for that particular client as they are not in QBO =(

**Recommendations to others considering Hubdoc:**

I would recommend Hubdoc, especially to bookkeeping firm owners, but be aware that there are not very many "small town" banks that they can "fetch" bank statements for...so if that is one of the main features you are looking for...try the trial first.

**What problems is Hubdoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It works well with helping my bookkeeping firm assign expenses as the client can "tag' which expense account the receipts or invoices should be assigned to. It also works well for collecting and organizing client receipts. I think the monthly fee is high for each client...but in some instances...it is worth every penny!

Automatic account syncs, ability to add files through email or app.  Integration with QuickBooks, Xero, several cloud storage services and more.  This is a great tool for business to digitize their filing and organize their important documents.  With the QuickBooks integration, you are able to attach invoices and receipts to transactions so you will be ready if an audit comes.

**What do you dislike about Hubdoc?**

Price, I wish that there was a limited free or cheaper plan available as a lot of my clients are price conscious and they refuse to sign up because they are turned off by the price tag.  It needs the ability to add user restrictions or limit them to view-only, right now all users have full access.  The user interface isn't always intuitive, while there are good tutorials available, it's not easy for a user to figure out as they go.

Take advantage of the free trial to familiarize yourself with the features and make sure that it's a good fit for you. 

**What problems is Hubdoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing, filing and backup up important financial documents securely.  I recommend it to my clients since I work virtually on the cloud, I am able to access their statements and documents without having need for access to their accounts and they don't have to waste time and be bothered to send them to me every months.

I love that my clients can forward/email their receipts to Hubdoc.  It's so easy for them.  Plus the app is very easy to use.

I wish there was a timestamp on the documents when they arrive.  I also wish you can see how it was uploaded (i.e. a username from the app, the email address it was sent from,etc).  These pieces of info can be critical and I've had to drop Hubdoc from certain clients because it was missing these key features.

Hubdoc provdies a user-friendly way for clients to get me their documents efficiently.  I don't have many clients whose bank will work directly with Hubdoc, but the few accounts I can connect directly save me a ton of time.

Sometimes the layout is difficult to work with, and I wish there was more ability to customize it.

If you plan on using Hubdoc for multiple bookkeeping or accounting clients, look into the certification. Getting certified in Hubdoc for Xero and Hubdoc for Quickbooks is very helpful and worth the time!

I don't like having to sign into the mobile app every time I use it.  I wish it would recognize my login or let me use my fingerprint to login.

It allows me to work with my clients remotely and in real time! It helps me keep them compliant in case of an audit and operates as an employee for my company. I've tripled my business because of Hubdoc and how it integrates with QBO

I wish it had more user permissions, audit trail, and a nicer dashboard, but those things are hard to complain about because I love everything else so much!

It's a great software that is like a virtual filing system! It fetches statements so you don't have to ask your client! It allows them to upload and email in their bills and receipts. You can process them and push them over to QBO so that your source documents are tied to the transaction!

Not only does the software pull your monthly document, it allow you to email it.  In addition it will push a copy to your storage vendor (ie, Dropbox) and push it properly to your accounting system (Xero)

Not much, customer service is great so if there is an issue they're on it.

Take your time with your integrations and it will be a snap.  The choices for automating pushing your docs to Xero, et. al. needs to be played with depending on your needs.

Speed up importing bills and other documents into my accounting system, eliminate the need for scanning.
