**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The difficulty level feels inconsistent at times, which makes certain challenges come across as confusing instead of genuinely educational.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt gamifies the process of reporting phishing scams and bad emails, making it kind of fun. It also tracks all your reports, which I find cool. The interface makes it super easy to report scams and bad emails quickly. I also enjoy the simulation interface because it lets you see your score and compare it with others in your organization, whether they are in the US or around the world. The initial setup of Hoxhunt was super easy, and I haven't run into any issues so far. Overall, it's a pretty great system.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing... yet

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt ensures security by preventing the bad guys from stealing information or money. I like how it gamifies phishing scam reporting, making it fun and easy while tracking reports. The simulation interface is engaging, showing scores across the organization.

  ### 3. A dynamic and effective way to boost corporate cybersecurity.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica P. | Finance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

What I like most is that it doesn't feel like traditional "mandatory training." The simulations are highly realistic and perfectly integrated into my daily workflow. I appreciate that when I report a suspicious email, I get immediate feedback, which reinforces learning in a positive way.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

At times, the frequency of simulations can coincide with very busy workdays, but I understand that’s exactly how phishing works in the real world.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us stay alert to real-world threats. As a professional, it gives me peace of mind knowing I can quickly identify malicious emails, protecting both company data and my own information.

  ### 4. Effective Phishing Training with Gamification Elements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the badges and rewards system in Hoxhunt, as it makes the training engaging and sets goals for employees. The realistic, tricky email simulations are great because they train employees effectively not to click on suspicious links or emails. These simulations are more frequent and realistic than what we used to receive, like clickbait LinkedIn messages or unpaid invoice scams, which helps keep everyone on their toes. The setup is easy with a simple button in the Outlook toolbar, which I find really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

that I'm not sure if this is a scam for the gift card review!

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt provides training for phishing emails, enhancing IT security for employees. It offers badges, rewards, and realistic scenarios to keep employees vigilant, effectively training them to avoid suspicious links.

  ### 5. An Innovative Approach to Cybersecurity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annarita D. | Marketing Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I especially like the practical and engaging approach of Hoxhunt. I appreciate the realism of the simulations and the integration with work tools. The immediate micro-learning and long-term engagement are aspects that impress me, along with the data-driven approach. The integration with tools like Microsoft 365 is also well documented and guided, making the main steps quite straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Perhaps greater personalization of content, depth of advanced reports, variety of content in the long term, involvement of more experienced profiles, and initial management and onboarding would be needed.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me reduce the risk of phishing, overcome the ineffectiveness of traditional training, improve incident reporting capability, and reduce the operational burden for the IT team.

  ### 6. Engaging Cybersecurity Training with Real-Life Practice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ropa M. | Talent Acquisition Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the gamified user experience in Hoxhunt because it makes learning more engaging and helps me grasp the principles better. I also love that it sends real-life examples directly to my inbox, allowing me to practice the theory effectively.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Not much, but if I had to pluck something out of the air, it does sometimes feel repetitive; as if the same content is being recycled. In these cases, I tend to just click through and take in as much content as possible. The content feels repetitive, like I've already read it in another module or lesson.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt keeps me up to date on cyber security best practices, trends, and risks. I appreciate its gamified experience and real-life examples, which make learning engaging and practical.

  ### 7. Realistic, Personalized Phishing Simulations That Keep Us Alert

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia K. | Paid Social Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that it sends phishing emails at random times and they are different to each person, so they are not as likely to be cheated on. It makes you work to identify the real phishing emails. I also like that you can keep a scoreboard with your colleagues so it makes it more engaging.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing I can think of at the moment to be honest.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me further identify phishing emails especially when I work with sensitive client information. I look harder at emails that I may find suspicious or don't recognise now.

  ### 8. Authentic Training, Fun Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siiri L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really like how the emails from Hoxhunt are crafted to look genuine. They sometimes appear very personal, as if I've got a package notification or even use a colleague's name. This makes it a real challenge to distinguish the Hoxhunt emails, which I find really interesting and nice. After every email, there’s a small exercise or test, and I can see how I compare with colleagues. It’s also so fun and nice that I gave it a definite 10 for recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Everything is perfect

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to identify and share suspicious emails that may not be proper. It makes it challenging and interesting to spot these emails, as they look very real and sometimes personal, using familiar names.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roy A. | Digital Production Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really like the simulation that Hoxhunt offers, which gives users the ability to see how the exercise is working in their email. It’s great how, when I click on Hoxhunt, I can identify if something is spam and learn from the embedded simulations within Outlook. This feature is really good for users to understand and recognize hijacking attempts and how spam can infiltrate emails. Everything being embedded within Outlook is particularly convenient, as it feels like using Outlook itself rather than a separate app.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me identify spam emails effectively through exercises that simulate real spam scenarios, improving my ability to recognize and handle potential email threats.

  ### 11. Real-World Phishing Simulations That Truly Test Employee Readiness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yan W. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Real-world simulation, testing actual readiness of employees from phishing

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The gaming and competition system. A bit distraction and waste of time.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very real phishing tests makes sure whether or not you are actually prepared. Just those learning materials and training videos prove nothing. You have no confidence whether the employees will click the phishing link when it really happens.

  ### 12. Love it: Playful, Engaging Online Safety Training That Keeps You Alert for Email Scams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Máté M. | Junior Copywriter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Finally a playful and engaging way to educate people about online safety. So refreshing to actually pay attention for scams in your emails rather than just watching a boring online lecture.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I don't think there is any, maybe that is focused more on the practice, and less on the theory. For example even if there is one, a landing page with learning materials haven't caught my attention. But it is definitely okay I think.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paying attention to scam emails are often underrated. Hoxhunt is solving this and making me actually cautious.

The training gives great interactive tips on spotting key attributes of phishing and the access to cybersecurity training content is straightforward and the quality is great as well.

The phishing simulations are highly effective in helping employees build practical awareness of phishing attempts and confidence in identifying cybersecurity threats.

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I use Hoxhunt for company-wide training on phishing emails, and I really appreciate how the emails are relevant and closely resemble real ones I might actually receive, rather than generic phishing emails that are obviously fake. The cybersecurity training is valuable as it helps me be aware of ways to avoid potential data leaks. The setup was very easy as it was implemented through an Outlook add-on, and everything works well and is relevant.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There is nothing I dislike.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt for phishing training with realistic emails, keeping me alert to potential data leaks.

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It clearly explains how to spot and identify fraud in emails, which makes it easier for me to recognize suspicious messages and avoid getting tricked.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There’s a lack of clear separation between training failures and missed emails, which makes it harder to understand what went wrong and where to focus.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to report suspicious emails and phishing attempts. It also helps increase awareness about email fraud.

  ### 16. Fun, Educational, and Essential for Email Security

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

We’ve had some issues getting it set up correctly after being involved in a merger. As a result, some people managers are still receiving emails about users who no longer work for the company.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing emails remain one of the most common attack vectors used by adversaries, which is why it’s crucial to train users to recognize them. Regular awareness training helps people spot suspicious messages and encourages open conversations about cybersecurity.

It makes it fun to use and helps gauge the level of responsiveness of my colleagues to the phishing simulation. The initial setup was easy, as it just appeared on my Outlook ribbon.

I wish there was a reward system that lets you earn gift cards for e-learning platforms like Udemy and Coursera. That would definitely make the experience more rewarding and engaging.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt for phishing simulations and learning about phishing patterns. It helps me and my colleagues spot hacker patterns and understand how to secure information.

  ### 19. Interactive and Effective Security Training

I haven't reported any problems so I wouldn't know of any problem solving.

  ### 21. Engaging Security Training with Real Impact

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I use Hoxhunt to strengthen our organization's security awareness and reduce phishing risk. I appreciate that it provides training through realistic phishing simulations and short, engaging lessons that help us develop good security habits. I like how effective it combines realism, personalization, and measurable impact. The phishing simulations feel authentic and relevant, which helps me and other employees build real instincts instead of just memorizing rules. It's also valuable because of how adaptive the platform is. It tailors training based on individual behavior, so everyone gets guidance that matches their actual risk level, rather than a one size fits all approach.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

One area is content variety over long periods of use. While the phishing simulations are realistic, long-term users may eventually recognize certain patterns. Expanding the content library more frequently or offering industry-specific scenarios could help to keep the experience fresh and maintain that high engagement.

I use Hoxhunt to strengthen our organization's security awareness and reduce phishing risk with realistic simulations and engaging lessons, making training effective and easy to adopt.

  ### 22. Hoxhunt keeps us trained, safe and prepared before Cybersecurity incident happens.

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The phishing simulation are subtly designed to mimic the cybersecurity incident.
The best thing I like is the micro training immediately after the simulation. This creates a lasting impression on the minds of the user and helps us to be prepared for any cybersecurity attack of a similar nature.
Hoxhunt keeps track of how many phishing simulations you completed correctly and which ones you missed. The leaderboard is a good tool to know your competency on handling such cybersecurity attacks.
The Hoxhunt logo with black shield with red borders constantly reminds us to be vigilant during these cybersecurity attacks.
Thanks for a great software!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I think the micro training should also have an option for an in-depth training if someone want a deeper dive on this simulation.
Also there should be a count of how many users pass the simulation and how many users needed the training.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt is solving the problem of training all the users by effectively simulating a real cybersecurity incident. It is benefiting me to understand latest threats that exists and be vigilant and prepared for future cybersecurity attacks.

Hoxhunt's phishing simulations are incredibly realistic, which is the best way to test and put the knowledge gained from its videos into practice. The modules are concise, informative, and short.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There are phishing simulations I miss because I recognize an email I don't want and trash it. I don't think that should be a sign of a failed or missed simulation, if we're still not opening or falling for the scam.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's creating a better knowledge base re: what to look for in scams and how to continue strong security across our organization.

The game element not only kept our company safe but also made the process enjoyable. The stars and leaderboard added a sense of community and set individual goals, which was a great motivator.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I think I have the habit of deleting junk/phishing email instead of reporting, so there was a slight learning curve if unfamiliar with Hoxhunt.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps us identify phishing emails and creates a fun, competitive culture around email security, making us look forward to spotting and reporting threats.

the collection of the stars after a report or a simulation

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There should be a pop-up when someone clicks on a link that is not supposed to be clicked because it is spam. The pop-up should display a warning message asking the user if they are sure they want to continue with the clicked link.

When an email is reported and determined not to be spam or phishing, it should be moved back to the Inbox instead of remaining in the Deleted Items folder

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt addresses the issue of employees falling for phishing by turning security awareness into ongoing, personalized training. It helps me spot real threats more easily, build better habits over time, and keep security top of mind without it ever feeling overwhelming.

  ### 31. Best-in-Class, Realistic Phishing Simulations with Great Gamified Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Paper & Forest Products | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Realistic traps and phishing attempts. It's the best one I've seen so far. Good job! (maybe even more realistic than is possible, but no harm being extra careful).
The gamification of the cyber security training is also great although i cant see any of my colleagues names.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes legit emails are flagged as phishing when i report them. I wonder if anything can be done to make the reporting function more sophisticated.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness and training, for sure. Scams are getting so much more complicated, and it’s important that someone or some organization stays on top of it and helps train corporations.

  ### 32. Effective Security Training with Practical Examples

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ondrilla F. | Human Resources Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I use Hoxhunt for our data security. I like how it helps to identify spam emails and teach along the way. The bite-size training and real-life examples are great. The modules are short and focused, making it easy for me to complete them along with my day-to-day workload. The examples provided are realistic and practical. I also appreciate that it integrates with Outlook, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I find there are too many reminders as it just clogs the inbox.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt for data security, as it helps identify spam emails and provides bite-size training with real-life examples, making it easy to learn without disrupting my work.

  ### 33. High-Quality Phishing Tests and Training Nuggets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

High Quality Phishing Tests and apt training nuggets

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

They can do the tests more frequently and send training nuggets more frequently

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HoxHunt conducts phishing tests on all employeees of my organization to ensure they get trained well

  ### 34. Eye-Opening Insight Into How Convincing Phishing Emails Can Be

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alaric S. | Senior IT Support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It helped me realize how easily a phishing email can blend into what looks like routine work or everyday life.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The interaction might have some place to improve. (To make the game much fun and challenge)

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It do helps me build a better understanding of the dark side of social engineering.

  ### 35. Engaging Phishing Simulations with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devon M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt makes training more 'fun' and uses examples that are very real, which helps me become more attuned to what to look for in phishing schemes. It's also cool to see 'leaderboards' and compare my stats with colleagues. The initial setup was very easy and the update was seamless to email.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes the frequency is high. Also, because the simulations are so real I miss 'real' emails. Also, if you delete an email it penalizes you. Delete is better than clicking...

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to simulate real-world phishing examples, making employees more aware of phishing schemes. It makes training 'fun,' keeping us attuned to warning signs.

  ### 36. Fun, Engaging Way to Boost Cyber Security Awareness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drashti P. | Fund administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

My overall experience with HoxHunt has been very positive. The platform has helped me become more aware and cautious in identifying potential phishing attempts and other security threats in day to day comms. I have also found the simulations to be both realistic and engaging and they strike a good balance between being challenging enough to test my attention and simple enough to integrate into my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The two thing i personally not like in hoxhunt are: 1) You cannot report multiple emails at a time. When I select multiple emails and try to report then it shows to select one by one and report it. 2) Sometimes the hoxhunt button takes time to open

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt is used everyday to make us aware and alert on suspicious emails. Personally, I think it's a great idea as we deal with a wide range of data from the resident and businesses in our Borough.

  ### 37. Effortless Phishing Training with Hoxhunt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mckaylee S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I love how easy Hoxhunt is to use and integrate with email. After reporting a phishing email, it provides a short lesson on common tactics used by scammers, which I find valuable. The integration with email makes it easily accessible, and the short lessons fit perfectly with my busy schedule while providing meaningful and helpful insights. I love all the features offered and the opportunity to turn on 'spicy' mode. From what I've heard from the setup team, the setup process was smooth and the support was great.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I only had one problem while trying to report an email via the Outlook app and ended up clicking on a fake phishing link instead of clicking on the 'Hoxhunt' logo to report it.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt simulates phishing emails to train us on spotting threats. It's a hands-on tool that teaches more effectively than monthly trainings. It's easy to integrate with email, and its quick lessons provide useful insights in my busy schedule.

  ### 38. Fun and Effective Email Security Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodi M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt makes training fun. The interface is seamlessly integrated into Microsoft Outlook, which is our email program, and I don't need additional training to figure out how to use it. It works within Outlook and I find out immediately if I have identified a scam email.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I think it would be helpful if after getting some tests correct, that the new test emails were more difficult to identify. So far I have 100%, but the scam emails have seemed pretty easy to identify. Since scam emails are getting harder to identify, I think Hoxhunt could replicate the more difficult ones. Maybe it does, and I haven't gotten any of the more difficult ones, but so far, all of the test emails have been pretty easy.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me identify spam/phishing emails, keeps me sharp, and integrates seamlessly with Outlook, making the training both fun and easy to use without extra training.

  ### 39. Fun and Effective Phishing Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier P.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I appreciate that Hoxhunt is intuitive and the fact that it gives us numerous attempts. The challenge aspect is also very well crafted. The micro-trainings are less tedious than a long training session, and the 'star' points allow for jokes in the office with the achievements. Also, the reporting interface is very simple and clear via Outlook, which makes it pleasant to make a report with Hoxhunt.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Perhaps more quizzes should be added, even if they are optional, and a few additional training sessions wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, the reporting interface is very simple and clear via Outlook, but once the button is clicked, it might feel a bit too 'game-like', although that's also part of what makes it enjoyable to do a Hoxhunt report.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt does not solve any particular problem for me, but I suppose it helps my company avoid data leaks or the creation of backdoors.

  ### 40. Realistic Phishing Simulations, Foolproof Security Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt simulations are real. They look like real emails that could really trip you up, which makes them super effective. I also enjoy that it turns into a bit of a gamified solution once you actually submit something or click on it.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I don't always see the emails because if I look at the title and know that it's not relevant for me, then I just delete it. But I suppose this might be a way of passing the test without actually interacting with it.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt as a simulation tool to improve my ability to recognize phishing schemes by teaching me what to look out for in suspicious emails.

  ### 41. Interactive Tutoring Makes Learning Engaging and Informative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

You get info / interactive tutoring on each report.

For comparison on my current employer we have "some" competing tool. It is binary you stepped on trap / good job you spotted a pishing email.

The other product's developer trusts their product so much that they do not even tell the end user which company made it and what it is called.

(I have posti laptop to do posti work, thus I also have access to hoxhunt)

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I hated it that when this started, you could not flag yourself as being on vacation. I used vacations from current year and previous year and immediately dropped in rankings so much I never could catch up. So the race was lost in very beginning phases.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really has helped me to avoid dangerous emails and be suspicious of many emails I receive outside of company.

Also I have flagged several spammers and they do not seem to get trough anymore.

  ### 42. Hoxhunt Rankings Make Progress Fun and Motivating.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gelcio G. | Proces Control Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the Hoxhunt ranking because it shows how many stars I’ve earned and what league I’m in.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether an email is a scam or not.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m more careful when reading emails, and I pay close attention to whether they’re a scam or not.

  ### 43. Helps Learning Stick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I appreciate the way the tests and learning capabilities are set up. It let's you know why you are wrong if you incorrectly clicked on something - not just that you were wrong to do so.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I understand it is supposed to be sporadic but sometimes I feel like it goes too long in between tests and then all of a sudden, I will get two in one week and they are somewhat similar.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People learning on what to look for so they don't click malicious links or enter their credentials on a site they shouldn't be.

  ### 44. Enhances Vigilance Against Phishing with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the way Hoxhunt allows me to stay more vigilant and make sure I'm getting all the details correct. I find the leaderboard surprisingly helpful for staying on top of reading emails and reporting them rather than just deleting. It helps me remember security features and keeps everything in one place, which keeps phishing email awareness top of mind. Additionally, setting it up for my position was very easy, as it worked from the first day.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I can't really think of anything.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me verify security and phishing emails, ensuring I distinguish training emails from real threats. It keeps me vigilant, consolidates security features, and the leaderboard encourages attention to detail and reporting rather than just deleting messages.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing really to say. Haven't had a dislike about the platform

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt is solving security illiteracy across the workforce

  ### 46. Effective and engaging tool for building phishing awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mayur k. | Solutions Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

As a user, I find the phishing drills very engaging and realistic. They help me stay alert and practice spotting suspicious emails in a safe way. The feedback after each drill is simple and easy to follow, which makes it a good learning experience. Over time, I feel more confident in identifying real phishing attempts, and I appreciate how the exercises blend into my normal email routine without being disruptive.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Some of the simulations feel a bit repetitive over time. It would be helpful to see more advanced and varied phishing scenarios. Occasionally the drills arrive during busy hours, which can feel distracting.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps solve the problem of phishing awareness by training me to recognize and report suspicious emails in real time. It turns security into a daily habit, reducing the risk of falling for phishing attacks. For me, this means more confidence when handling emails and peace of mind knowing I’m contributing to keeping the organization safe.

  ### 47. Interactive Dashboard Boosts Email Security Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamila E.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I love the interactive dashboard in Hoxhunt because it provides me with clear information on my results and progression, making it easy to track how well I'm doing. The competition aspect, where I can earn new shields and progress to different levels by gaining stars, is something I really enjoy as it adds a fun and engaging element to learning about security. The training sessions are very valuable, as they equip me with the skills to be vigilant when dealing with spam or phishing emails, helping me recognize and detect them effectively. Additionally, the initial setup of Hoxhunt was very easy, which made the overall experience smooth and hassle-free. The fact that I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to friends or colleagues speaks to my trust and satisfaction with the service.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I find being able to search among my reported threats is lacking in Hoxhunt. A search bar to find reported threats would immensely improve my experience.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to filter phishing and spam emails, staying informed and trained to detect them. The interactive dashboard tracks my progress, and gaining stars motivates me to improve my skills.

  ### 48. Hoxhunt, makes cybersecurity training fun and engaging through its clever gamification.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodie-Marie P. | Senior Digital Performance manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I've really enjoyed using Hoxhunt as part of our cybersecurity training. The gamified approach makes it genuinely engaging—rather than feeling like a mandatory task, it becomes something I actually look forward to. It’s clever, interactive, and helps build real awareness in a way that sticks. I’ve found myself more alert to potential threats, and it’s great to see how it encourages a culture of security and friendly competitiveness across the teams.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Honestly, I get genuinely disappointed when I miss a Hoxhunt email while I'm on leave—it feels like I’ve missed out on a challenge

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditional cybersecurity training is often dry, repetitive, and easy to ignore. Hoxhunt turns it into a game, making it something people actually want to participate in. Generic training doesn’t account for different roles or risk levels. this personalizes the experience, adapting to each user’s behavior and progress. The gamified format makes it fun and competitive, which keeps me motivated. Each interaction teaches you something new, reinforcing good habits without feeling like a chore.

  ### 49. Fun, Quick, and Engaging Way to Learn Email Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I'm learning how to spot malicious emails to better protect my accounts. I really enjoy the stars feature, and the experience feels almost like playing a game. It doesn't require much time each day, and I barely notice that I'm spending time learning these skills.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes I miss those emails, and then I feel like I can't return. I noticed a mistake in one of my quizzes, but I wasn't able to continue with it. Instead, I had to skip the quiz rather than being able to proceed.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HoxHunt aims to address the vulnerability that arises when employees unknowingly open malicious emails without recognizing the risks. I find it beneficial, not only because I use it frequently, but also due to its user-friendly design. Additionally, it has helped me become more aware of potential threats in emails I receive on my personal accounts as well.

  ### 50. Engaging Security Training through Gamification

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan "DF" W. | East Coast Business Development Manager | Professional Filter NOAM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like Hoxhunt's approach of making security awareness a game and a competition between employees. It drives conversation and friendly competition, keeping everyone engaged in the process and encouraging them to look for opportunities to score points. The automation of testing employees for their susceptibility to scams or phishing attacks is also valuable. Plus, the initial setup of Hoxhunt was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The simulated emails are formulaic and could be more unique. It would be good to see more diverse topics covered, with less emails spoofing a legit email address.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt keeps us alert to email security threats by automating tests on our vulnerability to scams and phishing attacks.
