I like Hover Domains because it offers a clean, simple, and straightforward dashboard that makes managing domains easy and intuitive. Their support team is responsive and helpful, which adds a lot of value. Hover enforces a 255-character limit on TXT records, which complicates the implementation of 2048-bit DKIM keys, etc. Would be really nice if they updated this to allow 2048-bit. Hover also requires two-factor authentication by email verification code for every login, and they don't have a "delegate access". This means that accessing client accounts requires obtaining a verification code from them each time, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I consolidated my domain details with another provider and the support from Hover to make the transition was awful.

Hover provided an email notification of the transfer (see below). Anyone reading this email would concluded that nothing further is required. However, to proceed, the user is required to click on the hyperlink on the "or please go to our website" to authorized the transfer.

The representative had no idea what details their system was sending out to clients and they didn't seem to care too much about how inaccurate their communications were.

It's good to know that I can renew domains when needed at a fair price rather than having to shop around again. Renewal prices are actually the same as registration prices for some domain extensions and only 10% or more expensive for others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not as cheap as some for the initial registration however you don't get hit with heavy renewal fees so it's good for long term domains rather than 1 year projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No exchange server so many Outlook functions don't work. You won't, for example, be able to sync your Outlook calendar or contacts across your devices using their service. Their native email service if you don't bother with Outlook is very clunky and difficulty to use. Since they are a very focused company they excel at what they do. It is very easy to connect domain with a hosting service.
