## About House Matters
House Matters is home watch, cleaning and handyman software for small businesses: the owner's photo report and your invoice, done before you leave the driveway. It is built for the people who look after homes their owners are away from: home watchers, house cleaners and handymen working second homes, cabins, rentals and a parent's place, as owner-operators or small crews. Every client home is a card with the owner, the visit schedule, the rate and a checklist specific to that house. The route builds itself from each home's schedule, overdue first. A visit is worked one-handed from a phone: tick each item, take a photo on every one, flag anything wrong. Tap Complete and the owner has a report with the photos before you pull away, and the charge for the visit already exists. Anything the owner flags lands on your next visit. A flagged problem can be priced in writing, and the owner taps yes from wherever they are; the fix goes on their record with before-and-after photos and is billed as labor and parts. Homes paused for the off-season drop out of the route and the active-home count, then return on a set date. Billing runs per visit, or a whole family's month in one tap. Invoices go out on your own Stripe, Wave or Venmo account, and every invoice and payment copies into QuickBooks Online. Money settles directly with you; House Matters takes no cut and sells no leads. Unbilled and unpaid stay on your screen until they are settled. Your clients see your work in House Matters for free, with nothing to install: the same record holds their keys, stays, supplies and upkeep, and your name is on every visit. When they need a hand with the house, the ask comes to you. Your first three client homes are free with every feature included. Past that, Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year for unlimited client homes, with no per-user fee: the people who work with you get a seat at no charge. Works in your browser on any phone. What it does not do: GPS-verified check-ins, drive-time route optimization, crew dispatch, e-signatures, or an offline mode. Proof is a timestamped photo on every item, delivered to the owner minutes after the visit.
