Horizon Solutions Reviews & Product Details

Horizon Solutions is an advanced supply chain planning platform designed to empower mid-market and lower-enterprise manufacturers by streamlining their planning processes. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools that cover demand planning, inventory optimization, supply and production planning, finite capacity scheduling, distribution planning, and integrated business planning (IBP). By integrating these functionalities into a single, user-friendly workspace, Horizon Solutions enables companies to transition from traditional spreadsheet-based planning to a more efficient and collaborative approach. Key Features and Functionality: - Demand Planning: Utilizes statistical and machine learning models for accurate forecasting, allowing planners to improve forecast accuracy and align teams more effectively. - Inventory Optimization: Employs multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO) techniques to set optimal inventory levels across the supply chain network, reducing total inventory while maintaining service levels. - Supply and Production Planning: Balances capacity with demand, streamlining manufacturing processes for efficient and cost-effective production. - Finite Capacity Scheduling: Creates feasible production schedules that respect actual machine, labor, and material constraints, improving resource utilization and reducing manual scheduling efforts. - Distribution Planning: Optimizes network flow, sourcing decisions, deployment planning, and transportation mode selection to enhance distribution efficiency. - Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Aligns operations, finance, and strategy on a single forward plan, ensuring that volume, revenue, and strategic plans are synchronized. Primary Value and User Solutions: Horizon Solutions addresses the challenges faced by supply chain planners who are often constrained by the limitations of traditional tools like Excel or the complexity of legacy Advanced Planning Systems (APS). By providing a platform that is both powerful and easy to implement, Horizon Solutions enables planners to: - Start Planning Quickly: With guided steps from sign-up to planning, users can upload their data and begin generating clear plans within days, focusing only on what needs attention in a shared workspace. - Improve Decision-Making: The platform offers real-time simulations of stock and service levels, allowing users to see the impact on inventory, customer service, and finance, and optimize working capital accordingly. - Scale Flexibly: Companies can start with one module and scale to end-to-end planning in real time, reducing stockouts, minimizing excess inventory, and making faster decisions. By integrating advanced planning capabilities into a single, intuitive platform, Horizon Solutions empowers manufacturing companies to move beyond traditional planning methods, enhancing collaboration, decision-making, and overall supply chain efficiency.
